Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Gennadiy 'GGG' Golovkin III | DAZN PPV - September 17, 2022
Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Gennadiy 'GGG' Golovkin III | DAZN PPV - September 17, 2022
So I don't have much to say about GGG/Canelo III except that I am looking forward to the event.
We will be getting the ppv and we will have people over for the fights.
My wife is already excited about hosting for this one and if everyone shows up we will have 16 people in my living room for the fight.
It's generally the same group of people here for the ppv boxing and it's always fun.
I hope the fights are good, if they are it will get loud in here.

Ortiz vs Ruiz was interesting.
Ggg vs Ginger IIII isn't.
And neither was AJ vs Usyk II really.
Another nonsense fight that isn't interesting is Spence vs Craw.
Boxing is starting to really suck.

sad that the ppv Canelo and GGG three is at a price of 84.95 i may watch in the theater instead. even with a good undercard it's not worth 85.00$H8Usernames wrote: ↑08 Sep 2022, 21:38 Ortiz vs Ruiz was interesting.

Devin Haney vs Lomachenko sounds relatively interesting. Seeing Kambosos vs Loma or Tank would also be nice but none of these fights are scheduled.

Kambosis first though, may be tougher this time, nothing to lose.

My concern is that GGG does just enough to be competitive without ever really trying to force the win.apollo creed wrote: ↑09 Sep 2022, 06:58 G is cashing out big time. If he goes 12 rounds with Canelo then its very good.
We've seen this happen in the past with fighters at the end of a long successful career.

Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Gennadiy 'GGG' Golovkin III | DAZN PPV - September 17, 2022
I can see that as a possibility, but it does tend to go against GGG"s nature. He has never been a cautious, defensive fighter- he is a go getter. That's why I won't be watching this fight, it will be an old faded guy taking way too much punishment.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 10:36My concern is that GGG does just enough to be competitive without ever really trying to force the win.apollo creed wrote: ↑09 Sep 2022, 06:58 G is cashing out big time. I think G knows very well that a prime Canelo is a very savvy counter puncher with fast combos, so probably GGG would try to conserve some of his energy to not get too exhausted and be very vulnerable for a KD or a T/KO.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑10 Sep 2022, 10:36My concern is that GGG does just enough to be competitive without ever really trying to force the win.apollo creed wrote: ↑09 Sep 2022, 06:58 G is cashing out big time. For obvious reasons Canelo is the favourite, but i really hope that Golovkin will win via KO.
Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Gennadiy 'GGG' Golovkin III | DAZN PPV - September 17, 2022
I expect GGG do exactly what he did in the 2nd fight. Work behind the jab and fight more off the back foot. Canelo will plod forward as usual trying to counter with big shots.
I pulled for Canelo in the first 2 fights. I'm hoping a Pacquiao/Marquez type ending this time around. Although I expect Canelo to win a clear UD here.

I've got the same impression. Canelo seemed to be the future of boxing before those 2 fights, but eventually Golovkin deserves at least one official win in this rivalry, which is nearly impossible now.NateJR wrote: ↑11 Sep 2022, 09:32 I expect GGG do exactly what he did in the 2nd fight. This fight is way under the radar.
Canelo surely way to sharp for GGG at this point. Only way i see GGG winning is if his jab completly shuts one of canelos eyes. Guess he is a punchers chance for a knockout, but seeing as Thicc boy version of canelo has never been rocked at all.... its a tough ask.

The fact that Canelo lost didn’t even make this fight a bit more interesting.
3rd fight is coming way too late. Heck even the first fight came few years late.

• Ali Akhmedov and Gabriel Rosado clashing for the IBF North American Super-Middleweight title – the big-hitting 27-year-old Akhmedov’s third fight on a card topped by his fellow countryman Golovkin, in a clash that is a must-win for 36-year-old Rosado.
• Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams taking on Kieron Conway for the vacant WBA International Middleweight title.
• Diego Pacheco fighting for his first pro belt in his second battle over ten rounds when he meets Enrique Collazo, the 2012 Olympian and six-time Puerto Rican National champion.

They don’t want to pay for it themselves so think they can get the fans to pay for it.
