After all the gobbing off from Khan he offered next to eff all .
Well pleased for Kell and the fight against Benn would actually be ok .
I can't see Connor Benn wanting any of that.
Yup , probably right

Jorge Linares and Amir Khan both battered into retirement tonight.
Not bad company that, Amir.

i think ppl read far too much into brook's eye and overreatcd to his crawford loss. made ppl overlook that khan had basically been semiretired for the better part of the last 6 years

but ya, with brook's accuracy he'd be alwahys be nightmare for khan, it's the perfect counter to the speed

Imagine if Kell could have been that disciplined throughout his career.

Incredible condition. Credit to Dom.

Agreed , he has looked absolutely massive in time out of the ring .
It must take some dedication to get back in the sort of shape he does .

Wanted to see that for so long. Picked Khan was wrong. Brook was winning easily but it was early stoppage. Only downside is that Kell has something left, he should retire but won't. Kell vs Spence as the final pay day

Glad it happened.

Yes…. Exactly. Shame he needs that to focus. He was a real force tonight.

This is so easy to say afterwards though isn’t it?

Timing beats speed and AK has lost a bit of his speed and was always the smaller man.

I enjoyed that a lot though

Will be interesting to see what Brook does next. I don’t want to see him try and get down to 147 again and I don’t want to see him against Eubank at 160 either (although I’d be ok if they met at something like 155/156).

That leaves 154 which isn’t a sexy division worldwide at the moment and the only big domestic fight is Smith which would be a good one but not a massive PPV like the Eubank fight would.

Khan looked totally shot, he shouldn't have been in the ring really could not take a punch anymore.

Not sure Brook looked that great either, I wouldn't want to see him in with Eubank or any world level welters.

Liam Smith might do another big crowd. Would be a good fight.

This is hardly an example of pretending to be ‘wise after the fact’ though, surely it’s been obvious for years and years? Pretty sure Khan always knew it too.

Khan didn't look especially shot to me, he just looked like a fighter who couldn't keep a bigger, marauding opponent off him.

Brook surely cannot retire after that. He looked as good as he ever has before. Not a hint of vulnerability about him once the action started..

Think brook should end on a high. Fear for him against a live opponent at world level.
He did what he needed to do but khan was beyond shot tonight!

He looked really flat as well. The missus said he looked like he didn’t want to be there during his walk to the ring.

Maybe it was only then he realised wtf he had done!

I'm just struggling to see what a not-shot version of Khan would have been able to do differently, against the Brook that turned up tonight.

Just said that to a mate. However he was barely able to throw a combination. That was his game, lightening fast combos

You have to wonder….

Couldn’t Khan’s team see what they had on their hands in the build up. Or can you flatter that much in camp?

It also seemed like Khan had forgotten what it was like to be hit properly. I guess it had been three years.

He was'nt allowed to ,, Brook just stayed on him and threw with him , negated any speed Khan had left and was simply too striong
