DDD has blatantly quit twice previously. That quit will always be there when things get tough for him - and it's almost a certainty that AJ will make it tough for DDD.

On the flip side, the eye injury (which Dubois showed bottle to fight with for as long as he did) is unlikely to come up again here.
Similarly, can’t see Joshua demoralising Dubois the way Usyk did. Of course AJ may just find the KO shot at any given moment to end matters, but I’m not convinced we’re going to witness this supposed lack of heart with Dubois tomorrow night.

Surely the Ruiz quit was as bad as anything DDD has done?

That is an entirely fair and reasoned judgment to make and something that lingers in my mind, but it has to be said that quite bizarrely and contradictory, DDD showed real heart and guts and resolve (i.e. no quit) when he fought and beat both Hrgovic and Miller in his most recent fights.

Pretty sure the co-main is going to be Liam Gallagher

I was trying to look for some older ones because the stadium's seemed to have unlimited capacity with everyone standing.

I normally really rate Graham Houston but in this week's BN preview, he writes that DD 'outclassed' Herg.
Outlasted maybe, but getting hit repeatedly by right hands in a slugfest doesn't meet with my definition of outclassed. Positively mental comment from such an experienced, respected journo.

Houston also reckons Over 6.5 rounds is a good bet in the main event.
I rate Houston as a tipster but can’t see this fight going into the second half. AJ under Davison seems a come forward fighter again, and you over have to go looking for Dubois.
I think this will be a firefight and while I couldn’t put the mortgage money on Joshua I do see it ending before halfway one way or another. Can’t wait!

I saw ring walk for the main event at 945pm so main event under way about 1015 ? Liam Gallagher will be on before that but not sure if his opponent has even been confirmed ?

Can’t get up for this fight at all. Really don’t see it as a big fight. AJ getting made out to be the 2nd coming of George Foreman since working with Ben Davison and I just can’t see it. Dubois showed just how bad his defence was against Hrgovic as I’ve never seen a top level fighter take so many right hands. Fair play that he came through it to get the win but he won’t be lasting to long if he eats the same amount of rights on Saturday night

There are arguments that this is Joshua's 7th best opponent. It's just whether Joshua has declined enough over the years and if we are underestimating his opponent.

concussion is not the same and you know it .
DDD was right to take the knee with the damage inflicted on his eye - I dont really see what else he could have done if he ever wanted to box again .
DDD Vs usyk was another thing altogther and that was a quit having just been put down by a jab and he didnt want to know .

Why are people engaging with a troll account? It's clearly someone's second account or knows nothing about boxing and is just here spouting shit to get a reaction
I know but thought maybe ask a sensible question to illicit the brain cells to turn and try to respond with some vaguely reasonable or sensible point but of course there are none to even engage
he doesnt rate aj / dd and now matty harris - there is a common denominator there .
