They’re a very lucky pair of lads Benn and Eubank Jr.

Despite all the leather they will throw and take, neither appears to be in significant danger against each other.

Nothing controversial about the first fight, and yet they come back and share £18m again.

Eubank Sr doesn't half talk some nonsense. He's fine in two-minute YouTube shorts videos, but imagine listening to that faux philosophical waffle for half an hour.

So, something really interesting that Eddie said today about the first fight. For the weigh in the morning of the fight, Eubank was fully clothed including a LV jacket and still weighed 169.4. Apparently that's what he normally hydrates to.

Yes we were talking about it at the time.
The empty sections further back. That's why I was concerned when they announced the rematch.
They framed it perfectly through the main event, but just as the fight was finishing the cameras panned back and there were whole empty sections.
It was a good fight, not world level by any means, but a good scrap none the less.
I just think doing it twice wasn't the wisest move.

Am going to get a few nice beers and listen to this on the radio whilst playing the PS5. Decent Saturday night ahead.

So are the tickets for this not selling? I seen lots of adverts for tickets etc majes me think its not selling as well as the first one ?

CHRIS EUBANK JR. SLAMS TEAM BENN, EDDIE HEARN OVER CLAIMS HIS FATHER WAS PAID TO ATTEND FIRST FIGHT

Chris Eubank Jr. slammed his rival Conor Benn, as well as his dad, Nigel, and promoter Eddie Hearn, over claims his father, Chris Sr., was paid to attend his fight with Conor in April.

Eubank Sr. failed to appear at any of the promotional events in the lead-up to fight night in the spring but surprised everyone by showing up hours before the main event with his son after years of not speaking. The scene became one of boxing's biggest viral moments of the year.

Following the bout, which Eubank Jr. won by unanimous decision after a Fight of the Year contender at Tottenham Hotspur stadium, subtle hints were made that Eubank Sr. was financially incentivised to show up.

But at Thursday's press conference, two days before Eubank Jr. and Benn meet in a rematch on November 15 back at Spurs live on DAZN PPV, "Next Gen" took a moment to admonish the claims he says have come from Team Benn and Hearn.

Eubank Jr. said: "There is something I need to address first and foremost.

"Eddie, Conor, Nigel, over the last few months have been making accusations and the notion that my father was paid to make an appearance in April, bare-faced lies, anyone with a brain knows it's not true, extremely disrespectful to my father and myself, and the Saudis to imply they'd pay him to do that, just getting it out in the open, never happened and for these men to stop lying to the public."

Eubank Sr., who also sat at the top table with his son for the first time since his win over Mat Korobov in December 2019, also refuted the notion he was paid, but did so in typical Eubank Sr. fashion.

"You can't pay me anything," his sermon began.

"I'm here for heart, love, what I've lived by throughout my career, what has made me this, living and behaving with patience, kindness, never envied, not proud, boast, rude, self-seeking, easily-angered, keep no record of wrongs, the consciousness of the Christ.

"Whoever told Nigel I was paid, whatever sum of money, they lied to you. You spouting what they've told you makes you a liar, expose who told you, clean your name otherwise ... who in the future is going to believe you on anything you say?

"I've always walked the straight line, fought the good fight, finish the race, kept the faith, now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, not only for me, but also to all those who've longed for his appearing, that's how you become a true entertainer that lasts.

"To that, I will say ... Rastafari."

Team Benn weren't drawn on what Team Eubank had to say on the matter and Hearn refused to speak throughout the entire press conference, humorously electing to hold up cue cards whenever the microphone was directed his way.

Eubank Jr. also accused Hearn's Matchroom of barring the head of his security, Ivan, from attending fight night.

"Fake news," read a cue card Hearn held up in response.

Regarding the rest of the presser, there wasn't much more to be said from either side, bar the usual about weight clauses and sabotage, for the talking looks to be done after 35 years of back-and-forth between the two fighting families.

Benn is certain he wins after 'taking the soul' of Eubank Jr. in April, while Eubank Jr. says the job will be an easier one this time around.

"[Eubank] was in hospital for three days," said Benn. "He's got incredible work rate, resiliency, strength, experience, he took me by surprise and he's a better fighter than I thought he was but I'm ready to take what's left on Saturday."

Eubank Jr. ended things how he always does.

"The procedure will be parliamentary."
