Not sure who the refs are, one has WBA and one WBC connotations so its not impossible they ship the judges in but you would think hopefully it will be close to home refs.
Was 1/2 a couple of hours before. It was a cert though. You snooze got lose i suppose. Good early spot though.GlobalBox wrote:Bet365 have gone from 13/8 to 8/11 in the four hours since they opened on Murray to win by Ko, got the price now just got to keep fingers crossed
What's the deal with Jack's chin? I see he was stopped in one round by a nobody last year?bruthead wrote:Quite like Groves decision over Badou Jack at 11/4.
Murray smashed him in the final at queens and he was ill against mannarino. Doesn't appeal at all to me, I'd want double figures.Riddick Blowe wrote:Who likes a bit of 6/1 for big Kevin Anderson vs Andy Murray? Seems pretty tasty to me. Anderson gave Djokovic hell at Wimbledon with break points in the fifth set and the South African is in the form of his life. Whereas Murray struggled a bit with a lowly-ranked guy in Mannarino. If he's off his game, he can easily lose here.
Maybe, I was expecting around 3s or 4s for Anderson though. We'll see if it's close.freddydoesdallas wrote:Murray smashed him in the final at queens and he was ill against mannarino. Big servers who he can move around in the rallies are perfect for Murray
I think those odds are reasonable. It's a big grudge match and Connor is a decent boxer but has never stopped anyone amateur or pro. I think it will be a distance fight and a good one but Boylan is a reasonable favourite.ardybo wrote:Anyone think Cassius Connor has more than a good chance of beating Boylan. paddy power has connor at 15/8
No doubt on records alone, Boylan should be the favourite. But I like Connors workrate, think he has a real chance in this one and Boylan was poor against Martin in his last big test.reggaereggae wrote:I think those odds are reasonable. After seeing your earlier post I also bet on Anderson but only got him at 9/2 as I already had money in my WillHill account, better then nothing thoughRiddick Blowe wrote:dammit was seriously considering putting my 30 quid free bet on anderson in straight sets at 37/1!!
i did get a bit on anderson but only in a double with Josh KO1. hopefully murray wins the next set before losing to make me feel better
Sorry man. At least Murray picked up a set. Anderson had one of those days where everything he hit was good. I don't even think Murray played badly, he just wasn't able to convert his pressure on a couple of big service games to break Anderson.Riddick Blowe wrote:dammit was seriously considering putting my 30 quid free bet on anderson in straight sets at 37/1!!

don't be sorry, it was all good on this outcome, just need Josh KO1 now...freddydoesdallas wrote:Sorry man. At least Murray picked up a set. MW in the house! In addition to bruthead I just have a feeling about Groves PTS. The Groves that poleaxed Smith I would have taken by KO but something is missing from the post-Froch Groves I feel.MightyWarrior wrote:Riddick Blowe wrote:Who likes a bit of 6/1 for big Kevin Anderson vs Andy Murray? Good call, Anderson played the match of his life right there, and after losing 6 straight to Muzzard he kept his nerve, which is hard to predict. I think Stan beats him though, then it's evens with Fed & Stan the man to meet Novak in the final.
Joshua will clump the big lump early, no doubt about it - and while Jack did look very fragile bowing out in one, it might be a genuine caught cold scenario - though George is a serious puncher alright, could be an unexpected point win for Groves.

See Bruce Dickinson around lately? Guy has just dismissed cancer like it was nothing. Legend.
Nathan Cleverly beat him!littlepug wrote:karpency to beat Adonis 16-1, just something about Stevenson that keeps niggling at me, can someone talk me out of this ?
To be honest, 16/1 in a 2 horse race is worth punt if you have any slight feelinglittlepug wrote:I know I know ! but that was a while ago, thinking the dawson win might of given him a boost while Adonis seems to be protected somewhat, and im not convinced with his chin.
It was a good shot but not a shot you'd expect someone with a decent chin to be legless after getting hit. The guy that stopped him.certainly wouldn't be considered a puncher either. I think the Groves outright bet is safer. Personally I can't see him losing this one.Riddick Blowe wrote:What's the deal with Jack's chin?
