If anything likes a long shot, you can get Whyte Ko1 at 16-1 paddy power.

Yes Minto is tough, but got short notice, is 40 and 5ft 11 and not that big for a modern heavyweight.

You can get 50-1 for both Joshua and Whyte to win by Ko1 in an acca.....

I think Salido could upset Martinez on the Mayweather undercard. Outside of the knockdowns and Salido losing a point for fouling, the fight was quite close last time around. This time the fight is in neutral ground which will further benefit Salido.Anyone any views on this?

The first fight was an absolute belter! I had Martinez winning it 115-111 so even with knockdowns and the foul I still had him winning slightly - he fought a good fight. The point off for the low blow was justified as he had received at least 3 warnings previous. Salido is a dirty fighter anyway whether it be with his head or low blows so he is always susceptible to losing points as he is with hitting the deck - he always seems to go down so that doesn't do him any favours on the scorecards.

In saying all that, Salido has the heart of a lion and is constantly coming forward throwing punches in bunches and I thought he had Martinez under serious pressure in certain parts of their first fight.

There are worse things you could do with your money than backing Salido as a 9/4 underdog. Worth a punt in my opinion.

Cheers theres a potential of a few upsets this weekend which could make for good earnings against the bookies. Connors to beat Boylan and Chambers to beat Theophane are also strong possibilities.

Avalos got any chance against Valdez? Valdez looks a great prospect but didn't think he looked that good vs Tamayo. Avalos looked like he hurt his right shoulder in the Frampton fight. Didnt really expect Valdez to be the same price as what Frampton was vs Avalos.

This saturday im thinking about going:
Stevenson rounds 1-12
Dillian Whyte rounds 1-10
Joshua Rounds 1-3
Mayweather Points win

that gets me odds of 1.49/1 id be sticking a tonne on it.

Anyone see those bets not coming in? they almost seem like dead certs. I might even take the stevenson fight out and bang on £250 at 1.3/1.

I think that should be good but if it were me I'd put in +10.5 rounds in Mayweather/Berto instead of Mayweather points as it gives you more outs for almost same price - shock Berto decision, draw or a late 11th/12th round stoppage. That's just me though.

Joshua to stop Cornish ko/tko.
Whyte to stop Minto ko/tko.
Groves to win outright.
£1 returns £1.78p.

Looks pretty good but I feel Mayweather might get a stoppage here. Dunno if he'll be going for it
But Berto looks there for it.

Not boxing but Rugby WC starts next week and PP are doing an offer where if you bet €/£25 on a player to be too tryscorer they give you €/£5 free bet each time he scores. NZ have a walkthrough group with plenty of tries on offer and Julian Savea scores them for fun. 5/1

I saw that offer but wasn't sure who to pick as the tryscorer. Got my fingers burnt with the all black wing 4 years ago.

Is foley going to play at 10 for the aussies?

I love two bets, a small one on Groves in the 1st round at 40/1, and Groves in rounds 1-6 at 5/1. I think he is going to counter Jack, big overhand right, game over. Similar to the sort of right he detonated on Froch's chin. Jack arches forward and leaves his chin exposed for that shot.

Gone quite big on Joshua rounds 1-2 with ladbrokes at 1.91

NZ wingers are usually good bets for these. Savea has 30 tries in 33 games which is outstanding.

I'd imagine Foley will be at 10 for OZ. On form, he is one of the best playmakers in the business.

I think the one i picked didn't get a last time. Corey something was his name...was it jane?

Was thinking that he might be worth a punt for top points scorer at 16/1 as he looked class last autumn but heard quade cooper may get the nod

Outside tip for the weekend is Gabriel Campillo over Marcus Browne still 15/2 with Paddy. Campillo upset a touted American prospect in Thomas Williams Jr only last year, Browne is similar. Campillo did just take a beating from Beterbiev which is a worry but if he's not unduly affected by that, he's a stiff test for any prospect, and definitely a big step up for Browne.

A little bet for the weekend,

Boylan, Ryan, Edwards and Groves all to win is 4.86 with Bwin, not the worst price and it gives me some interest for Sat night.

Not looked at the prices as of yet but I fancy stoppage wins for Mayweather, Groves and Joshua within 2.
