Wales & new Zealand both had huge handicaps and got nowhere near. Will be interesting who Namibia play on a short rest

Only had a small bet on it just as the run was going so well. Wasn't expecting that to come in at all but all the teams seem to be sticking with their competitive gameplans even against the weaker nations. A few years ago, the all blacks would have kicked that penalty to touch for an attacking line out.digzee wrote: I fell asleep and didn't see your message and forgot to betDid you have much on it?

It's been a successful week that's for sure. I did have a losing bet on Vito scoring two tries. Thought it was a certainty after he ran in the first one!The Insider wrote:Yeah. Re: Betting thread
Have the smaller teams got stronger? It seems as though the "minnows" are putting up a much bigger fight then in previous World Cups. I know Namibia still were on the end of a heavy loss, but they still got some decent points on the board.

Re: Betting thread
The same happened in the first round at the last world cup. Very few teams beat the handicap. The smaller teams have got stronger in that they are fitter and have a good kicker who will put some points over from distance. I think the difference will start to show once they are playing on short rest. New Zealand made 12 changes to their team for yesterday and still won comfortably. If Namibia made 12 changes they would be in a mess.Batley18 wrote:Have the smaller teams got stronger? It seems as though the "minnows" are putting up a much bigger fight then in previous World Cups. Christ, way off on this one although the sinbinning of Georgia's captain did them no favours. Pumas managed to grab 21 points while he was off the pitch.Deno1986 wrote:I got Georgia +23 @10/11 earlier. Don't think there's as good a price out now. PP have them +20 @ Evens.

Might be the turning point for all the minor nations. They've all played a game now at least and their fitness is going to be tested as well as their skill.Deno1986 wrote:Christ, way off on this one although the sinbinning of Georgia's captain did them no favours. Italy, South Africa, England and Chudinov KO/TKO pays just over evens - on it!

Don't usually bet on football but I fancy Stoke to beat Bournemouth at 13/8. They have a decent team but it's taking a while for the new players like Shaquiri to fit in. They threw away the game last week against Leicester.

DuHaupas koing Wilder is 150-1 any single round 1-8 with skybet, and you can get any single round 9-12 200-1 at ladbrokes.
Not suggesting but it might need fun to drop a quid on a couple of rounds.... Shame is not on TV.
Or Bet365 DuHaupas Ko 22-1

Yeah, they basically think Duhaupas has zero chance here (as do most people). I'm going to throw a few quid at this.reggaereggae wrote:DuHaupas koing Wilder is 150-1 any single round 1-8 with skybet, and you can get any single round 9-12 200-1 at ladbrokes.

I kind of get your logic....but it's 1000-1 that if I flush 5 quid down my toilet, it will regurgitate £5000 back up in krugerrands....The Insider wrote:I know I know but Buglioni on points at 10/1 is just too tempting.

It's a gamble, but Im going to go with the toilet option...

So I see the Paulie vs a scrub fight in Italy was a points win. I requested the stoppage/points market from Paddy but they couldn't be bothered pricing it up for me. I reckon if they had I might have got 3/1 ish on Paulie points since his opponent was 18/1 or something crazy.
