THIS BOUT WAS ALWAYS EXPECTED TO BE CLOSE AND IT WAS PANNING OUT THAT WAY IN THE FIRST AND 2ND UNTIL GAMMER PUT GUNN ON THE FLOOR AT THE END OF RD 2 WITH A BLASTING LEFT HOOK OUT OF NOWHERE , GUNN NEVER FULLY RECOVERED AND LOOKED TENTATIVE , THE REF STOPPED THE BOUT IN GAMMERS FAVOUR EARLY IN RD 5

JAMES DE GALE LOOKED SMOOTH AS HE DOMINATED THIS BOUT , EVENTUALLY PUTTING ALWAN-ARAB DON TWICE IN RD 6 , THE REF AT THAT POINT DECIDED DE GALE HAD DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE AND CALLED A HALT TO THE FIGHT , DE GALE LOOKS GOOD MOST OF THE TIME BUT THEN SLIPS UP AT ODD TIMES , THERES CREASES TO BE IRONED OUT BUT HES GETTING THERE

ROBERTO JONESIO HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK GOOD ON HIS FIRST TITLE DEFENCE BUT THE FIGHT STARTED WITH AUDLEY HARRISON AS THE ONE LOOKING GOOD AS HE USED HIS JAB TO KEEP JONESIO AWAY , GETTING THE CHAMP FRUSTRATED , THIS CONTINUED RIGHT UP TILL HARRISON SWITCHED OFF FOR A SECOND IN RD 6 AND JONESIO WAS IN LIKE A SHOT WITH A BIG UPPERCUT THAT PUT AUDLEY DOWN FOR 7 , HE GOT UP LOOKING AS IF HE HAD A CLEAR HEAD BUT THE FIGHT BECAME MUCH CLOSER AFTERWARDS MEANING JONESIO'S POWER COULD CAUSE HARRISON A PROBLEM AT ANY MOMENT , IN THE 8TH THOUGH HARRISON WAS KNOCKED DOWN TWICE , AGAIN NONE OF THEM SEEMED TO BE KNOCKOUT PUNCHES BUT THE CONFIDENCE WAS NOW SAPPED OUT OF THE CHALLENGER , RD 9 SAW JONESIO COMPLETE HAMMER HARRISON AND THE REF REALLY SHOULD HAVE STOPPED IT , BUT HE ALLOWED IT TO CONTINUE , I THINK THOUGH THAT JONESIO USED UP TOO MUCH ENERGY TRYING TO END IT AND IT MEANT THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE FINAL ROUNDS AND THEY COULD REALLY BE SCORED EITHER WAY . AS THE BELL SOUNDED , BOTH MEN RAISED THEIR ARMS , HARRISON FEELING HIS EARLY LEAD MIGHT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH TOP CLINCH A WIN BUT JONESIO WAS CONFIDENT HED DONE ENOUGH IN THE 2ND HALF PLUS THE KNOCKDOWNS , THE JUDGES AGREED WITH JONESIO AND GAVE HIM A CLEAR WIN BUT THE SCORING WAS RATHER ERRATIC , 116-112 , 117-110 AND 118-109 . THE TV JUDGE PANELIST SCORED IT 116-113 WHICH I THINK WAS PROBABLY ABOUT RIGHT .

PLENTY OF JOY FOR JOYI AGAIN AS HE DOMINATED HIS FIGHT WITH JAUREZ , HE WON EACH RD CLEARLY BEFORE THE REF STOPPED THE BOUT IN RD 7 DUE TO SEVERE SWELLING SUSTAINED BY JUAREZ , WHAT MAKES JOYI MOST REMARKABLE IS HES BEATING QUALITY CHAMPS WITH EASE , HES BEATING POTENTIAL HALL OF FAMERS NO PROBS . A STEP UP IN WEIGHT IS SURELY IMMINENT THOUGH AS THERE IS NOW ONLY ONE OTHER MAJOR CHAMP LEFT IN HIS WEIGHT, THE WBA HOLDER GONZALEZ , UNLESS HES JUST GOING TO DEFEND ALL THE TIME OR TAKE THE WBF AND WBU TITLES A STEP UP IS MUST FOR HIM IF HE WANTS TO KEEP EXCELLING.

MURRAY WILL AGAIN FEEL HES LET HIMSELF DOWN , HE LOST A SPLIT DECISION HERE , IN A FIGHT HE REALLY SHOULD HAVE LEFT THERE TO BE NO DECISION TO BE MADE , HE CAN HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE JUDGES SCORING BUT IT SHOULDNT HAVE MATTERED , ON PAPER MURRAY IS A FAR BETTER FIGHTER THAN TATESVOYAN BUT WE DONT HAVE PAPER CHAMPS. MAYBE MURRAY SHOULD GO BACK DOWN TO BRITISH LEVEL AGAIN AND BUILD BACK UP AS SOME FEEL HE MAYBE JUMPED UP THE LEVELS TOO QUICKLY

MPG VS BRYANT 3 WAS LIKELY TO BE A GOOD FIGHT , BRYANT HAD WON THE PREVIOUS 2 BUT KNEW THEY WERENT EASY ON HIS ROUTE TO WORLD LEVEL , A WIN FOR MPG WOULD BE A CHANCE OF REVENGE BUT WOULD ALSO ANNOUNCE HIMSELF ON THE WORLD LEVEL ,
WE EXPECTED FIREWORKS BUT DIDNT EXPECT TO SEE MPG USE HIS POWER SO EARLY AS HE CAUGHT BRYANT WITH A PEACH OF A PUNCH ON THE END OF HIS CHIN AND IT LOOKED LIKE LIGHTS OUT ON JUST 50 SECONDS BUT BRYANT GOT UP AND HUNG ON TO SURVIVE THE ROUND , JUST , BOTH FIGHTERS JABBED AWAY LOOKING FOR OPENINGS BUT WERE NOW USED TO SEEING EXCITEMENT IN MPG FIGHTS REGARDLESS OF WIN OR LOSE , AND HE DIDNT DISSAAPOINT AS HE AGAIN PUT HIS OPPONENT ON THE CANVAS IN RD 5 , HE LOOKED GROGGY AS HE REGAINED HIS FEET BUT BRYANT WAS A SURVIVOR AND HUNG ON , WELL UNTIL THE END OF THE ROUND WHEN AN MPG OVERHAND RIGHT LANDED ON THE TEMPLE OF BRYANT AND AS HE WENT DOWN THE BELL TO END THE ROUND RANG , BUT NO BEING SAVED BY THE BELL HERE , THE REF CONTINUED TO COUNT AND DID REACH 10 . MPG HAD KNOCKED OUT THE MAN WHO HAD GIVEN HIM TROUBLE IN THE PAST , A MAN WHO MPG HAD HIMSELF TOLD THE MEDIA HAD JUST HAD HIS NUMBER IN THEIR PREVIOUS FIGHTS , HES ELIMINATED A DEMON , IF HE NEEDS TO CONTINUE TO DO THAT THERES STILL KOEBER AND JONESIO BUT HE HAS BEATEN JONESIO BEFORE , MAYBE AT SOME POINT HELL HAVE TO HUNT THOSE 2 BUT AT THE MOMENT HES GOT BIGGER FISH TO FRY

JONES USED THE REMATCH CLAUSE TO GET A SHOT AT WINNING HIS BRITISH CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE BACK , KNOWING THAT THE WINNER MUST FACE CLINTON WOODS NEXT , A FIGHT THAT COULD PROPEL THE WINNER INTO HIGHER LEVELS , AND JONES MANAGED TO START BRIGHTLY PUTTING SCOTT ON HIS ARSE IN RD 5 , BUT SCOTT GOT UP AND WOKE UP HIMSELF , IT WAS A DIFFERENT FIGHT FROM THEN ON , IT WAS LIKE BRUCE BANNER AND TURNED INTO THE HULK AS HE HAMMERED AWAY AT JONES , THE REF JUMPED IN IN RD 7 BEFORE JONES GOT HURT AS BRUCE SCOTT SEEMED MORE LIKE IVAN DRAGO THAN HIMSELF , I FEEL SCOTT MAY BE TOO POWERFUL FOR WOODS ON THIS PERFORMANCE , AND A SCOTT WIN WOULD SEE HIM MOVE UP AND VACATE , SO ALL IS NOT LOST YET FOR JONES BUT HE NEEDS TO LEARN FAST IF HE EVER WANTS TO REACH THE WORLD STAGE .

Thanks Dappa and unlucky on your loss,Hopefully we can get it on later on,maybe for a world title and sell out Wembley.

Team MPG rang Team Koeber this morning to ask for a rematch to gain revenge for being knock out previously BUT Team Koeber wanted double the money i offered him to fight me.He said ''If you want a shot at Revenge, you will have to Pay for it''.We then discuss that if i were to become IBF Champion,He fight me for NOTHING.So it's :

A FIGHT THAT LOOKED AS THOUGH CARTER HAD WON VERY EASILY WAS THROWN INTO CHAOS BY ONE JUDGES RIDICULOUS SCORING , IN THE END IT WAS STILL A COMFORTABLE WIN ON A MOJORITY DECISION BUT WHEN 2 JUDGES SCORED IT 79-73 IT LOOKS ODD WHEN A JUDGE CALLS IT 76-76 , ESPECIALLY WHEN RIGSIDE EXPERTS EXPECTED A 79-71 OUTCOME , BUT A WINS A WIN NONETHELESS , TAKING CARTER FORWARD AGAIN .

PATERSON HAD TO COMPETE WITH HIS PROMOTOR ABSENT FROM RINGSIDE SORTING OUT SPONSERSHIP FOR STABLEMATE LEON LENNOX , THIS COULDNT HAVE BEEN GOOD FOR THE CONFIDENCE OF PATERSON AS RABACA LOOKED CONVINCING HERE , PATERSON WENT DOWN IN RD 2 BEFORE RABACA KNOCKED HIM OUT IN RD 8 , THE 8TH WAS THE ONLY RD THAT PATERSON LOOKED TO BE WINNING , THAT WAS UNTIL HE WAS KNOCKED OUT.
