ROBERTO JONESIO HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK GOOD ON HIS FIRST TITLE DEFENCE BUT THE FIGHT STARTED WITH AUDLEY HARRISON AS THE ONE LOOKING GOOD AS HE USED HIS JAB TO KEEP JONESIO AWAY , GETTING THE CHAMP FRUSTRATED , THIS CONTINUED RIGHT UP TILL HARRISON SWITCHED OFF FOR A SECOND IN RD 6 AND JONESIO WAS IN LIKE A SHOT WITH A BIG UPPERCUT THAT PUT AUDLEY DOWN FOR 7 , HE GOT UP LOOKING AS IF HE HAD A CLEAR HEAD BUT THE FIGHT BECAME MUCH CLOSER AFTERWARDS MEANING JONESIO'S POWER COULD CAUSE HARRISON A PROBLEM AT ANY MOMENT , IN THE 8TH THOUGH HARRISON WAS KNOCKED DOWN TWICE , AGAIN NONE OF THEM SEEMED TO BE KNOCKOUT PUNCHES BUT THE CONFIDENCE WAS NOW SAPPED OUT OF THE CHALLENGER , RD 9 SAW JONESIO COMPLETE HAMMER HARRISON AND THE REF REALLY SHOULD HAVE STOPPED IT , BUT HE ALLOWED IT TO CONTINUE , I THINK THOUGH THAT JONESIO USED UP TOO MUCH ENERGY TRYING TO END IT AND IT MEANT THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE FINAL ROUNDS AND THEY COULD REALLY BE SCORED EITHER WAY . AS THE BELL SOUNDED , BOTH MEN RAISED THEIR ARMS , HARRISON FEELING HIS EARLY LEAD MIGHT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH TOP CLINCH A WIN BUT JONESIO WAS CONFIDENT HED DONE ENOUGH IN THE 2ND HALF PLUS THE KNOCKDOWNS , THE JUDGES AGREED WITH JONESIO AND GAVE HIM A CLEAR WIN BUT THE SCORING WAS RATHER ERRATIC , 116-112 , 117-110 AND 118-109 . THE TV JUDGE PANELIST SCORED IT 116-113 WHICH I THINK WAS PROBABLY ABOUT RIGHT .
