Fair enough. And yes, you're probably right.....it was still an awful decision though.

i did the round by round on the current scene on boxrec
had it 115-113 to dirrel or 7-4-1
can only guess that the judges didnt like dirrels constant running
froch got lucky tonight

damn, froch was around 3.0-3.5 on betfair after the 12th round just before the cards were read out. I couldn't bring myself to take those odds. Foolish stuff.
Buncy is clearly annoying Jim. It's actually hard to watch because Buncy is being too animated and Jim is very laid back... looks bad. Hate the way buncy puts on this act, for one it's too late in the morning and two, it's CLEARLY an act. He doesn't talk like this 24 hours a day.

Thought Froch was handed a bit of a lesson there. Yeah Dirrell ran often, yeah he held a lot but except the middle rounds alot of it was lateral movement for me and he pot shotted carl with some sharp long shots. He had a bad middle round spell when it was more running and holding but he landed the telling shots for me.
The holding was too frequent but barring a couple single shots, the main success carl had IMO was through fouling means to rough Dirrell up
Last three rounds were a total spanking, big hard shots landing flush on the big lug. Clumsy damn oaf swinging and hitting air, falling in, ending up crouched over exposed. Poor timing, bad balance, one paced.

Poor fight. Froch hardly landed. Dirrell did but then held and was running like a rabbit in the last 2. Dirrell probably deserved it though I stopped caring several rounds before the end.
Stream was intermittent. Indeed I only saw 30 seconds of the 11th. Taylor-Abraham was buffering every 15 seconds. Tried 3 different browsers. Eventually switched to a Mac where it didn't buffer as much but picture was poorer and lagging a second behind the timer. I did get to see the finish in all it's glory luckily. Terrible undercards on both.
Overall a bad night. I'll never give Hennessy a penny again on point of principle. Froch losses next time out as luck will only get you so far and Dirrell was really negative though for all the coverage Carl's getting it didn't matter how tonight went. He or this fight was never pay per view and the set-up was farcical. I'm not going to waste my time asking for the £15 back. Instead lesson learned. Tonight was a total fleece job.

Happens eveywhere, I guarentee you'll see worse than that though. Fighting that style tonight Dirrell opened up the door to that outcome. I'm not saying its right, just that it happens routinley... welcome to the forum.

Froch shut up Dirrell fought a good fight and did his best to win the fight using his fast feet and hands to beat Froch

Dirrell was absolutely awful to watch, at least Froch tried to fight. Glad he won.

I have always supported Froch since his debut - IMO he did not win the fight - text Bunce, Rhino, and a few others at the end of the 10th that it was going to an SD.
I know styles make fights - dirrell ran away all night but boxing is also about not being hit and Dirrells defence was good - I had him winning the fight by 2 rounds.
Kessler I am sorry to say will walk right through Froch.

Sure did you see Froch at the final bell? You could clearly see he knew he should have lost....

All this "you have to really beat the champ to take the title" crap is annoying. It doesnt matter if they are the champion, if you squeak by you deserve the victory.

I know mate, if you win, then you win.
Shouldn't have to perform like a champion, merely do better than your opponent.

I don't think it should have even been a SD. Dirrell clearly won the championship rounds. I thought Dirrell won the last 5 big (I mean clean) apart from the point deduction.
I had it level at that point, so Dirrell by 4 for me.

I thought Dirrell won it, but was so negative...... I can understand how he didn't get the decision. To go overseas a fighter needs to really 'win' the fight to get the title, away from home. It's a shame, because I think Dirrell has the ability to shine. He needs to show more aggression in his next fight.

You got that spot on!!!
In some ways the negativity although as far as I am concerned won Dirrell the fight - it would not have impressed the judges.

1. 10-9 Froch - decent flurry with 30 seconds to go was the only action
2. 20-18 - Froch - nothing in it again but Froch with the effect pressure and ring generalship - nothing in it really
3. 29-28 Dirrells round, quality counter work
4. 38-38 - more of the same from Dirrell - still to quick
5. 48-47 - Dirrell, Dirrell frustrating Froch and nicking the rounds.
6. 57-57 - Froch, Froch needs to cut the ring off. Dirrell still frustrating Froch but not doing much
7. 67-66 - Dirrell, little in it.
8. 77-75 - Dirrell, speed speed speed. The left hook wasnt enough to win the round
9. 86-85 - Froch round. Finally Froch makes the pressure pay. Dirrell doing little
10. 95-95 - Level round because of the point deduction - scrappy fight!
11. 105-104 to Dirrell.- Dirrell Round. Dirrell starting to catch Froch. Both appear weak in the Super 6.
12. 115-113 to Dirrell.- Dirrell Round. Sharper, faster, more intelligent!

But plodding forward and missing punches by literally metres on some occassions clearly did impress them....
Correct there to - just one of them horrible fights.
Kessler will stop Froch IMO.

If you paid by direct debit, they can't get at your money until Monday at earliest... I am stopping the payment at my bank. No way they are getting a penny from me, those ass-clowns
I may do that Ant though it will come down to the whole "you pay your money you take your chance" as it always does with web feeds. I do tech support and knew the chances of this being a flawless were slim and none. Anyway i may call the bank tomo and see if it can be done. In may ways the whole experience is a bit liberating. I now know I will never be tempted again. Hennessy would be as well leaving the arena with a swag bag tonight. He's got away with it and lucked out. But you can only pull off a heist like this once. People are on to him now. The extraordinary efforts people went to to get this tonight will not be repeated. I mean on reflection all that hassle for that? No thanks. Froch ain't PPV and Hennessy can't promote worth a $hit. Next time the old online stream for free will suffice.
