just ended up watching David Haye and W. Klitschko HBO FaceOff with that Kellerman guy. God David Haye comes across as an even bigger dick than I thought he was!! and I bought his fcking training DVD the other week to learn new bag-work

It wasn't easy in 2011 either. Chisora's style might be ideal for Fury though as he can't fight on the backfoot and counter.

Abell and Johnson are diametric opposites. Abell has heart and desire, but not much chin or skill. Johnson clearly has skills and a good beard, but he doesn't appear to care about winning enough to try. Combine them, and you'd have a contender.

What is it with these Kevin Johnson, Kirk Johnson, Dominic Guinn, Lawrence Clay-Bey types? What is the great appeal of having natural talent and not using it? Why do they enjoy watching a less gifted man outwork them again and again and again?

mitchell was a decent fighter he just wasn't used to being hit and when it happened he couldn't handle it ,

Of the Fury-Abell low blow after the referee called a break Bunce effectively said that it was good refereeing to not mess around taking a point off as the fight wasn't going to a points decision!

I don't know how Bunce gets away with rubbish like that.

Skeete seems a really decent kid but he is boring to watch.

Tyson could have lost a stone and looked far better; Hughie seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is a decent boxer.

If Peter is a genuinely knowledgeable trainer - and I'm sure he is - he must look at Tyson at times and think "for fxxks sake man". The total abandonment of technique, the willingness to just walk in and swing, and generally stupid approach to the fight, it is going to end badly for Tyson, either before he challenges for a world title, or when he does. And I say that as a massive, massive fan of Tyson Fury.

You don't get a good world class fighter deciding to fight like he's had ten pints and has just gone outside for a punch up, just because they're facing somebody below their level.

When Fury decisioned Kingpin, he fought a disciplined fight behind the jab and did really well. I had high hopes for him. I imagine Peter must privately despair at how Tyson fights.

God I caned it on Saturday. I found a pub a bus ride away from me that had allegedly and confirmed they 'might' be showing the fight.

So at lunch time I nipped out for a couple of pints to a couple of local pubs trying to find the channel. No success, nipped back had lunch. Decided to try a couple of other pubs. Nipped out, no success, nipped back for dinner. I eventually ended up getting a bus to the pub who 'might' show it. By that time I'd had 5 pints that day already.

God knows how much I drank in the evening, but I spent £30 on beer. I think some of that was the juke box, and one for the barmaid. But even so.... I'm too old for drinking like that.

I might give it a miss next weekend. Was gonna have a beer with the Rugby, but might give it a skip.

£30 including the jukebox and treating the barmaid isn't a lot. At London prices it's about five or six pints. With your username, I would be hoping for at least double that. And no, I haven't forgotten the five pints you had earlier. The fact you "nipped back for lunch" and "nipped back for dinner" is worrying too. What did your mates say? We're they all taking the p!ss? What's wrong with a pickled egg and a bag of crisps?
