so only one card was wrong at it had only one round scored wrong. 1 out of 18 is too few to call it ''robbery, corruption''

Excitedly writing off a proven guy as a bum after a freak loss is something that has happened since the dawn of boxing, by people who don’t understand the sport.
Every great loses. Wlad lost more than once to people worse than Ruiz and people still come up with ways to call him great .
Joshua will learn from this and come back better, as all the greats have.

If Joshua learns, how to cope with adversity, he will. He was knocked down in two pro-fights. He looked like he didn't know what to do after that. Wlad let him go. Ruiz didn't.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 03:49 Joshua will learn from this and come back better, as all the greats have.

I don't think this fight increases Fury's chances. Don't get me wrong, he still has good chances, but Fury is no kind of puncher so I don't see him hurting Joshua like Ruiz did. He is also way taller than Ruiz which is much more to AJ's liking.DrDuke wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 03:44 That's the truth, but Joshua still had his flaws and today he did a huge mistake. So he was kinda exposed in some sense. His jumping on Ruiz was amateurish. After he was knocked down, he looked like he didn't know what to do. Again. Cause the same was in Wlad fight.
I was picking The Gypsy King over Joshua and now I'll do it even more confidently.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. - June 1, 2019
What’s interesting is that Joshua hasn’t really improved despite gaining experience in several big fights. He clearly doesn’t know how to handle pressure, his chin is questionable as is his stamina. Whilst McCracken is a proven trainer at international amateur level, I wonder if Joshua would benefit from a top class American coach, or is he just another Bruno, flattered by a poor division?

Haven't posted here in about 4 years, but I had to learning the outcome of this fight. And it make me think immediately of that guy who used to post on here and hype AJ to the moon...Kalan or something? Talking about how AJ would have destroyed Ali, Foreman, Lewis..etc.. I wonder what he's thinking now.
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Andy Ruiz Jr. - June 1, 2019
I am not Kalan (or something), but I would like to remind you that all the mentioned great champions had KO/TKO losses in their careers. This is boxing, HW boxing.Saurfang wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 11:51 Haven't posted here in about 4 years, but I had to learning the outcome of this fight. This !Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑02 Jun 2019, 12:04 Big mistake trying to ‘marinate’ a HW boxing match.
HW’s can get KO’d anytime anywhere.

Yes. Thank you. I'm aware it's heavyweight boxing and all the greats have lost and come back. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care.

Joshua is not (and will never be) one of the greatest ever though.
