Parker's team said he wasn't going to run, he was gonna trade.
That spells disaster for Parker, - he's not as heavy handed as Joyce, and Joyce is fighting at his natural weight and has a better engine anyway.
I think this ends mid to late rounds with Parker getting busted up pretty bad.
I think Joyce TKO by 11. Parker is tough as they come but but done a lot of rounds and never fought at this weight. I'm a fan of both Joe P is a great man I think, really sound as is Joe J.

I've got a funny feeling about this one. I've always backed Joyce, but this is a hard one for him. Both are nails and have great chins. If Joyce starts off dropping rounds, as he has done with guys like Takam, I don't think he can take Parker out late, and might drop a decision. Parker is fairly basic but a hard bloke and could survive Joyce's standard approach against lesser fighters of shipping punishment until he wears his opponent down.
Slow Joe can't rely on that here. I'd be very surprised if Joyce stopped Parker. I think it's going to go 12, and that spells danger for Joyce as Parker looked an improved boxer last time out. Joyce should jab jab jab, box and move for 7 or 8 and get some rounds in the bag, and then go in hard for the championship rounds and then try and get Parker out.
As a fan of Joyce, I'd like him to box sensibly. But as a fan of heavyweight boxing, it would be terrific to see a war between two of the hardest chins in the division.
A stoppage either way, considering how tough both are, would be impressive.

Joyce 271. Cant help but think thats a bit to heavy, your big and strong enough at 260, that extra 10 lb could cost a bit of the Juggernaut stamina..
Parker 255. I feel like they have come in big to try not get bullied, problem is the only time anyone can truely bully parker is when he is tired, and i feel this just increases the chance of him getting very tired in the later rounds. 245 parker would get less bullied in my opinion.
Still no Idea how this fight goes, all i know is parker hassss to rip to the body. Never been an amazing body puncher, but joyces big body, with his slow feet and slow hands mean its thee to be hit. feels a much better investment that his steely head.

Parker isn't in bad shape at all. Ultimately in boxing you need to be able to push your man back and you do that with bodyweight. Parker gained weight for Chisora 2 also and performed better. 4lbs isn't really much for men this size. Even 10lbs isn't.
I’m not saying he’s in bad shape, I just think he will gas out quicker carrying that extra bulk. To me, his best chance is to use his superior hand/foot speed, and crack Joyce to body and head at mid range. If he wants to engage Joyce at close range/on the inside, he won’t come off well, Joyce is a natural behemoth.
Either way, I think this is now going to be a war - looking forward to it.

Both came in heavy, but Parker is the one that looks slightly overweight. Joyce looks fine to be fair.
Looks like both are there to ship punishment and throw leather. Should be a good one, lads.

Agree, slow Joe looked in premium condition, Parker looked a bit fleshy. Parker never looks ripped, but yeah, I'm not sure the extra bulk, or meeting Joyce head on is the right plan.

I fancy parker to box well here and at least look like he gets the decision. He is boxing well under lee he is tough younger man. Joyce is a bully Parker is new Zealander somona blood doubt he will be fazed one bit his tank and work rate for me are his let downs but with Lee talking in the corner hopefully work rate will be good needs to bag the early rds as Joe will go all day. I still find Joe very slow in movement and sluggish but he has a big heart big tank and no quit In him and will break you if you show a chink in the armour. Going parker points

Parker by late stoppage. Joyce has been hurt to the body by Bryant Jennings and the head by Carlos Takam. I can't remember another undefeated boxer before a title shot with this many miles on the clock.

If Parker can put in the type of performance he did last time out in the Chisora rematch then I'd fancy him to win a decision, Joyce will have his moments especially in the second half but I like Parker to hold out

I would pay for the fight regardless, but tried the above through Firefox and it still cost me £19.99. When you have to confirm your card on the Barclays app, it says £0.00 but after you've done that you still pay full whack.
I just wonder if that's what happened? If you genuinely got the PPV for free then fair play.
