I think, being objective, and a fan of both boxers, that Fury will probably get the win this time setting up a trilogy. Since Floyd (and to a lesser extent, for British fans anyway, Calzaghe) boxing fans have become obsessed with the 0 and if you lose, or put in a bad performance, you were crap all along. Fury fought two journeymen and a non boxer in Ngannou, and looked rubbish, and still bossed the middle rounds and put it on probably the best fighter of our generation P4P, not just at heavyweight, before almost being taken out and then surviving and winning the last round.

Usyk in contrast had a very tough run looking very impressive against AJ twice and Dubois, who some posters now have as 2nd best in the world.

If you think Fury can’t come back and do better, you’re too invested in Usyk being unbeatable. ALL boxers are human and beatable. All of the greatest lose. I would argue, that if Usyk never loses, he actually hurts his chances of being included amongst the best heavyweights of all time. They all lost, they all had great rivalries. He has to lose, and then come back from that loss, to cement him in my opinion. Him and Fury are great dance partners.

If they split two fights, and then have a decider, then it validates the era, in my opinion. I think Usyk is one of the ATGs. But losing is kind of part of that, to me anyway.

PPV price set

The PPV for the December 21 heavyweight title rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are now on sale at DAZN. The PPV price has been set at $39.99 and £24.99.

The return match will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia under the Riyadh Season banner. Usyk is a -175 favorite to defeat Fury again.

I suspect this time around, Usyk will press harder from the get go, I think Tyson can do better, but I think Usyk can too.

I'm going to go with Usyk KO second time around, but I can see Tyson sneaking a win also.

Unfortunately, I think the way the landscape of the Heavyweight division is - I don't see what Usyk winning will really do, but I sure hope he does. Usyk wins - it will still by Fury vs Joshua as a the "biggest fight in the division" and Usyk will probably fight a guy he has beaten pretty convincingly already.

I want to see some new blood fighting the top guy and I do not want to see guys who have been smashed on multiple occasions being recycled - but that is what has been happening (Wilder).

I think Usyk wins again, more emphatically, and hopefully he retires at that point.

Sure, he could rematch Dubois, but another year older, that slight erosion of his reflexes, Dubois a little more confident - why bother?

Dubois has been a little flattered by the Joshua win, as good as it was, joshua fought suicidal tactics against a younger, hungrier and more aggressive opponent, Usyk is not going to make those kind of fundamental mistakes.

Not that much new blood to really get excited about right now to be honest.

Joshua v Wilder will I suspect be a sad spectacle whatever the outcome. Both men are damaged goods, and have been badly exposed now.

For the rematch, reports claim the pair will be sharing a fight purse of £150 million, which is £45 million more than before.

Tyson Fury's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Box Office on Saturday December 21.

Usyk took a split-decision victory over Fury in May to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999 and the first of the four-belt era.

Fury had seemingly been in control of the fight at the midway point when Usyk made a stunning breakthrough.

A thrilling ninth round saw the Ukrainian threatening to stop 'The Gypsy King', with the referee issuing a count when he deemed only the ropes had kept Fury on his feet.

Usyk ultimately came through a heavyweight clash of the highest calibre with the split-decision victory.

The loss to Usyk was the first defeat of Fury's professional career.

Fury wants revenge, as well as the chance to win back the unified WBC, WBA and WBO world heavyweight titles when they fight in the Riyadh Season event live on Sky Sports Box Office.

"I always end up knocking them out in the rematch. Whoever I've faced more than once, I've ended up knocking them out in the rematch," Fury warned the Ukrainian.

"We've got to put that behind us, what happened in the fight," he added. "I have to be a little bit more focused and a little bit more smart to get the victory.

"I believe it's my time this time. I believe that all things that happen, negative or positive, are lessons."

To pave the way for this second fight Usyk vacated the IBF belt, which then mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois picked up and defended against Anthony Joshua.

Usyk is relishing the rematch with Fury. "Just happy to fight. The second fight will be good. Tyson knows what I do. I know what Tyson does. It's a great time for me, for my opponent. I'm very happy," he said.

"My fight will be hard because Tyson's a big man, a very good boxer, good boxing IQ.

"I see from Tyson Fury's eyes, it was not easy [for him]. It will be hard, very, very hard.

"Tyson, don't be afraid. I will not leave you alone."

Have a feeling they'll both be trying to hold the centre of the ring. It's gonna be a good 'un.
