Cejudo is going to get wrecked this weekend.
At first I was thinking Cowboy gets smashed too. But, since the birth of his son, he seems reinvigorated. I'm still picking Tony. But, I won't be surprised if Cowboy takes it.

Some good fights this weekend.
I see Ferguson-cowboy as a 50-50 type affair, but I actually think I favour Cowboy at the moment. He's got momentum on his side and has looked good in his last few fights. That combined with the fact that Tony hasn't fought in 8 months, has looked somewhat vulnerable in recent fights, and also has been suffering with mental health problems only very recently, makes me think he might be up against it.
I'm particularly looking forward to watching Tatiana Suarez against Ansaroff. I think Tatiana is going to end up ruling that straw weight division.

Good description. He's the nearly man. He's been in the top 5 before, but always falls short at the final hurdle.

He is an enigma. I think he just caves in certain fights. Against some top-notch guys, he looks outstanding. And against others, he fails miserably. He has done very well against A level comp like Henderson, Alvarez, Barboza, Brown, Iaquinta, etc... Henderson was the LW champ for a while too. Not B level in my book.

Yeah i agree. I think if you have been in the top 5, you're in the elite of the division.

He's got every UFC record. I love him, love scarface too. Very conflicted on whom I'm going to cheer for.

I try not to envy other people's lives. But, Cowboy is the man! He's living the life for sure.

I wish that Aljo/Munhoz fight was 5 rounds. Fantastic fight. Aljo definitely earned himself a title shot with that one.
Also earlier in the night Jojo Calderwood once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. I'm a little bit in love with her but she's so frustrating to watch.

That 3rd round for Tatiana against Ansaroff has left more questions than answers. Hopefully she learns from that. Can't afford to tire out like that against Andrade, that's for sure.

Joanna J. is making her return to 115 soon, I think Suarez would be a natural opponent for her. Although I have to say I thought she was acquitting herself pretty decently in the standup in the 3rd round up until the last minute or so when she really ate some bad shots. The announcers were really overstating how clearly Ansaroff was winning that 3rd round.

Unfortunate ending to the fight. The boos at the end there were pretty shitty imo.
Ferguson has such a weird striking style, but so damn effective.
The punch after the bell was bad, but it wasn't what blew up Cowboys eye like that.

Rogan in particular has this weird habit of saying someone is badly hurt anytime a semi decent strike lands lol

T-Ferg is a monster. Too bad for cowboy. I feel he was going to get stopped in the 3rd anyway.

The Funkmaster was definitely on point tonight.

Yeah Ferguson puts on such a heavy pace, it's nuts lol. Only someone like Khabib could handle that I think and even then it would test to the max.

Absolutely. He'll often interrupt his colleagues with an "OHHH!!!!!" when a single decent strike lands.
He also has the habit of going "oh he's got it ... and he let it go" every time there's a mediocre submission attempt that gets escaped quickly.

I think you'll get the trifecta with your last 3 picks.
