Why would he jeopardise a payday of £70m by injuring himself ? There’s no guarantee that the fight will be made down the line, Usyk could lose to whoever steps in as a replacement etc. and then Fury misses out on such a huge sum forever.

As to “blading” himself - would that cause the same kind of cut as a glove or an elbow would ? What if the Saudis, annoyed that their £100m extravaganza had been cancelled, wanted to investigate what actually happened and examine the cut themselves ? I think it’s all a little far fetched to suggest foul play is responsible

I'm as sceptical as anyone regarding Fury believing he could win this fight.

But cutting his own eye. Nah...

Drives a VW Passat and uses a Nokia 7650 for filming sparring, what a guy!

Hopefully this clears the way for Big John Fury vs Joe Egan or Dominic Negus...unless John gets cut sparring as well?

Because they want it to happen, it makes them feel good about themselves if their prediction comes true? Just a guess.

Or how about they predicted it because they know Fury is a lying cheating basterd? I mean, that's why I thought it wouldn't happen.

But what if the injury is legit? Is it a given that it isn't? Surely that would have zero to do with Fury's character, along with all the fan predictions that come with it.

Ed talking like its going to happen in april...

Decent looking cut, thats probably no sparring at all for 5 or 6 weeks+... so then fury is going to need a camp afterwards. Feels june/july is more likely.

Usyk vs hrg feb 17th would be great. keeps the belt if it keeps delaying.

Yeah, that's a bad cut. 2 months to heal, maybe plastic surgery.

It might be genuine, but Fury I'm so full of shit, hard to not be skeptical

Rumours of him getting bossed about in sparing and then gets an injury, nothing to be sceptical about at all. I imagine Usyk will finally walk away and then Fury will come out calling him a gap toothed ugly midget sh1thouse etc etc.
