Joachim Alcine vs David Lemieux
I used to love watching Lemieux when he was a prospect, reminded me of Nigel Benn.
Aye he was a heavy hitter Lemieux

I went through almost everything I could find of Ray Mercer on YouTube the last week or so, so I've watched most of his career recently. I found it particularly interesting how badly Jesse Ferguson beat him in the 1st bout, and then Mercer wins the rematch. It seemed almost to be more about what Jesse didn't do as opposed to any major improvement in Mercer between the 1st fight and the 2nd.
Fun career to watch. I'm surprised Mercer thought he won against Holyfield as I thought that was a clear W for Holyfield. The Lennox Lewis vs Mercer fight I had 96-94 for Lewis, but it was extremely close and a draw or a 96-94 score for Mercer is perfectly reasonable as well. One of the harder fought wins of Lennox's career no doubt.
I also watched James Toney vs Reggie Johnson and Jose Luis Castillo vs Juan Lazcano recently.

Michael Spinks vs Larry Holmes 1
Holmes just couldn't get much going in this fight. Spinks even outjabbed him which is almost unheard of for Larry Holmes, but it happened here. I had it 145-140 for Spinks. Not the most thrilling fight, but an interesting tactical battle. I'll get around to watching the rematch at some point.
