Imagine if back in May of this year, alot of us were saying "Joshua better not trade with Ruiz or he's going to get kayoed" . And yet now that seems to be the majority opinion going into the rematch.

Good point. Their first fight obviously elevated Ruiz in most of our eyes and I’d certainly include myself in that. Seems a bit daft in hindsight as I knew Ruiz had fast hands and I didn’t think Joshua was especially robust and and that he clearly shows when he’s hurt. I did under estimate how nimble Ruiz was on his feet though and that played a significant role

The poll for this fight seems wrong to me.
I would think the KO/TKO would be about even, and Ruiz to lead a points decision vote because he is a lot busier.
Interesting.

I’ve opened the poll if anyone wants to change their votes

I've voted AJ points but I am not confident...
Tomorrow's weigh in will give a good indication of the game plan

The booking of Luis Pabon as ref has already confirmed the game plan. Re-watch Wladimir/Povetkin. Or some mince defrosting.

In profile Whyte looked pregnant! At one time, several KOs ago, Wach could probably have upset a Whyte in this condition.

He was fleshy v Rivas, and that was 254.. he's now 271ish?

Povetkin looks in slightly better shape than he was for Huggy Fury. Hunter Jr has a bit of star quality about him I think. God I wish Mike 'the Bounty' Hunter were alive and in his son's camp. He'd bring some comedy to proceedings.

If Wach sticks around it could get interesting late.

He was 268 in the first fight, over a stone heavier now !!

Is this now a Buster Douglas - Holyfield situation? We’re the pictures showing a slim Ruiz photoshopped? Joshua must be very happy right now.
