Well, he did buzz Wilder a couple of times in the first fight, one more straight right added and he may have caused a KD. Also, he may be thinking (like a lot of us) that he can't maintain safety for 36 mins, and has to try to finish it early.

C'mon, mate. That doesn't make any sense.
Most refs would have stopped the fight because they'd've thought Tyson wasn't going to get up....... but he did get up, and what's more, finished strongly. Most refs would, therefor, have been wrong to stop the fight.
It's almost like counting fighters that managed a win Germany or Italy in the 90's as losses because the judges didn't turn in a card for the hometown fighter, cus you know, 9 out of 10 of them often did - no matter what they saw.
No arguments about the McDermott fight, though. That wasn't even close.

I can’t think of a fighter who has weighed 273 pounds and can honestly claim it’s an optimum weight to perform at. The weights got to be a worry for mobility and reaction speed.

It’s pathetic mate and a downright lazy move by him, trying to win a fight by weighing heavy doesn’t sit well with me, I’d rather he come in 2 stone lighter and use his bloody skills

Tyson Fury is a giant bum, a big fat parody of an elusive fighter that looks utterly ridiculous trying roll punches with his big fat 7 foot frame. He's going to get flattened tonight then hopefully go back to the WWF circus where he belongs.

There’s was whispers of complacency creeping in. Could it be the road work has taken a back seat with a bad ankle and instead he’s being pumping iron as a substitute? I honestly don’t know. But Wilder looks a bit like version 2.0 and is probably at his absolute peak.

I actually think with all the talk about Fury that its actually Wilders weight that's the bigger deal, which will hinder him the longer the fight goes. We also have a better conditioned sharper Tyson as opposed to the wary, out of shape, 2 years out of the ring and worried about his gas tank version in the first fight.
I see Tyson pressing the fight on the front foot using his weight to nullify then bully and stop an exhausted Wilder in the later rounds

Sugar Hill has the family name but I haven't seen him take charge of the camp, whether you are talking about conditioning or tactics.

If nothing else, this fight has the forum popping.
The odds on this fight say it all, 10/11 each to win and a very low 20/1 for the draw on Sly Bet. A “genuine 50/50” and I’ve heard some hilarious opinions and predictions in the lead up. I’m in the Wetherspoons now and everyone’s on about it.

Also he’s an arm puncher which makes a KO even less likely. And doesn’t have a brilliant offensive repertoire. Unless, somehow, he breaks him down, busts him up with accumulation of punishment.

David Haye (who hates Fury) said Wilder has a concrete chin. But Fury is big enough to knock anyone out. And he doesn’t throw arum puncheese, he just doesn’t sit down on them

In the morning I sadly expect to read that Wilder got a convincing stoppage. I’d presume Fury would then have another ‘retirement’ but emerging again in 18 months or so to dominate a few more tomato cans. I’m just not convinced he’s anywhere near mentally and physically ready tonight.

That's because they haven't shown
anything from camp in the boxing gym. All I've seen is either workouts at a regular gym, and posey stuff you usually get on the pads in a lead up promo/presser. Tyson closed the doors this time, li'l Sug is keeping wraps on what is released, which leasing right up to the fight, has been virtually nothing.
I'm pretty sure the boxing gym work was all him.

respectfully disagree. Thought fury won the first 2 and last 2, of a 10 round fight. John won his rounds more impressively, but Tyson was def in it. I watched it after reading the posts on here, expecting a one way drubbing, and it was nothing of the sort.
Not that it matters now lol.

Navarrete too big for Sanitisima , won everything, put together some nice combinations and tagged him with some clean punches but Sanitsima had some grit and never really looked like giving up, Navarrete is a beast at the weight, relentless just keeps marching forward and when he turned the screw forced the stoppage, ref might've been a bit earlier but got there in th end
