I bet AJ doesnt fancy the job against Usyk. AJ would not be able to cope with those angles and would be wide open for those quick counters. He would not be able to fight at that pace either.
Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Derek Chisora - 31 October 2020
Sorry, as repeating a few others, but collected thoughts:
Felt Usyk completely took over from 4th round onwards. Have to respect chis’s guts but was hitting air or gloves from 4th round onwards and getting picked off.
Disappointed that Usyk didn’t press for the finish.. felt in last 2 rounds in particular Usyk could have planted his feet more as chisora was so knackered and still coming forward - felt he was wide open for a counter like mayweather’s check hook on Hatton.
Disgrace that likes of Hearn and bellew trying to Say chis won. Praise him for his guts but apart from first two rounds he clearly couldn’t touch him.
Usyk will get stopped late by fury and aj for all the aforementioned reasons.

Summary
Underdog gave it a real good go and got all his mates excited early on.
The boners didn’t go down quickly enough to see the real class that was unfolding before their eyes.

Del gave everything, that's all he means, really. He's a mate.chrisnew86 wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 20:17 Tony Bellew must be drunk .
I don’t understand this point of view. Delboy took a beating imo.
Derek didn’t land anything clean, didn’t even wobble Usyk?

Coldwell lives round the corner from me, think I need to go and have a word tomorrow. There’s no way on earth you could score that to Chisora.
How do these pundits not understand their views would be much more respected if they spoke impartial and honestly.

Clear Usyk win. Even Terry O'Connor would struggle to justify that being anything else.

It's not so much about the scoring for me barring an absolutely outrageous result it's about the comparison between Tyson Fury's performance against the same opponent and I suppose AJ's performance against Chisora's conqueror DW.

I’m a Usyk fanboy and he won clearly tonight but it worried me how easily he got caught at times particularly by Del’s jab. I don’t think he hits hard enough to deter the big 2 from walking him down. Who’s he fight next ? Whyte would be an interesting fight.

Think about this for a minute if 2 judges would of thought del boy won one more round that would of been a majority draw, think of how bad usyk would of felt if that happened. Usyk won by id say 8 clear rounds.

Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Derek Chisora - 31 October 2020
Gave Chisora 3 of the first 4 when he went all out and Usyk was having a hard time. Could have easily given Usyk the 4th though.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 20:20which rounds did you give chis, i watched most of it w/o looking at forums or listening to commentatory and i am baffled at people seeing it as a close -ish struggleFightnight Scores wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 20:16 Good fight that was, credit Chisora.
Scored it 7-5 personally but could see it wider also by a few.
Then later on Usyk slowed in rounds 9 & 10 and gave them to Chisora.
I was all over the place and not fully focused totally on the fight

Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Derek Chisora - 31 October 2020
I think you could make the case Chisora won 2 or 3 rounds early one but nothing after that.
Bit disappointed in Usyk tbh, was a bit messy. He really should be putting Chisora away if he has legit title hopes.

Usyk clearly for me 8-4. He almost had Chisora out late in one of the rounds. Excellent boxer, never looked troubled for me.
Dodgy card in the Selby fight. Phil Edwards gave it to Selby? How is that possible.
Main fight was great, the rest of the card was pants.
Usyk beats Joshua but loses to Fury

This fight didn't show me the 'greatness' many posters spewed about Usyk going HW. He'll struggle mightily a step up or two over Chis. 7-5/8-4 Usyk here.
