Some of our esteemed posters said ahead of this fight that Josh could win this with a boxing on the outside decision.
Josh stuck to that for what? 2 minutes, then tried to square up to a guy that just stopped him

Lara needs to move on, and up.
There isn't any trinket attached to this fight anyway.

Backed a draw on Paddy Power. They have voided the bet. Is that right?

Down as a draw on Boxrec even though I think it should be a NC.

Yeah I think that’s right, betting on a draw would usually involve the scorecards, don’t think a technical draw would be covered.

No they should pay that out
It was a technical draw
A boxing fight can only be one of
Three outcomes , a draw was one of the betting options and that was the result they defo
Need to pay that in my opinion

I usually bet with Sky or Bet365 and they always show draw/technical draw. Paddy just shows draw but I still thought it should be paid.

I'm Irish so I'll say it, I like Katie Taylor but that fight was absolute rubbish and as chief support on a card like this. Katie is clearly on the slide, her opponent was 39 and 3 fights in 5 years? And Katie couldn't get her out of there and scraped it.
Between this and the Ebanie Bridges farce, supposedly she won a robbery against a girl she 1/50 to beat!
Hearn needs a reality check women's boxing has nowhere near the depth to have this prominence in cards. If the card had 2 solid men's fights instead it could have done alright, instead it was a total let down with the main event ending like that.
Only for Maxi Hughes impressive performance this was poor stuff.

I follow football, Boxing and MMA with a bit of Rugby and Basketball. Other than football I pick and choose which fights/games I watch depending on who it is and the context behind it. I have just never seen any point watching a whole event or a game that you have 90% no interest in. Skip the pointless stuff if you need to and just watch the ones that you like the look of, hopefully you'll miss the uninteresting bits and it might give you more hope

Some sportsbooks (bookmakers) have a rule that if a fight ends on a technical draw inside four rounds, all bets on the draw will be voided.
As you know, in most jurisdictions, if a fight ends inside four rounds due to a head clash, it's a "no decision". But under British Boxing Board rules, if a fight ends before the end of the fourth round due to a head clash, it's a technical draw. And Warrington vs Lara was under BBB of C rules.
The UK/Ireland sportsbooks got hip to this and now treat a technical draw as a "no decision" if the ending comes inside four rounds.

BBBoC just need to catch up with the rest of the world and make those No contests. why be different, especially when wrong. Its not a draw, they didnt go out there and determine they are equal, the just didnt get to fight enough to get a real result.

Had Lara stoppage with Virginbet and it was voided. Just as well or they’d have been fackin murders.

Great technical performance from Maxi Hughes. Stuck to a perfect game plan and drew the opponent into his fight.

As it turned out, the only decent fight to watch on there.
Ebanie gifted a decision, thought the French girl had done enough to take that. Honestly, this wasn't bad as a first bout but then to have bird's boxing as the main support too?!
Benn can't say he's never been in a boring fight, not his fault the opponent ran but he should have found a way to close down/cut off the ring. Disappointing.
Taylor fight was torture. Can't see the point of having this just before Warrington.
Warrington butting from the start but got away with it and it leads to fight being stopped. Lara landed a few decent shots, Warrington more composed so probably perfect way to end the fight for Josh. He faced his demons but can't see a third fight, both of them can now go their seperate ways into bigger fights.

I think your right. Warrington and Hearn seeing this as a moral victory in that he went the distance (2 rounds

) and
No harm done.
Strange comments from Warrington after saying how sitting on his stool after the first he wondered how this guy could’ve knocked him out in the last fight. Then he came out trading with him. It was heading the same way again. Can see him avoiding punchers for the next few fights.

The first fight Warrington was wide open the whole time.
Even when trading last night his defence was a lot better and his chin was tucked in. I think he would have won but who knows.
Lara’s cut will take several months to heel before he can even start sparring so the earliest the fight will happen again will be something like March/April so I can understand Eddie wanting to get him back out again in the interim.

In the interviews after the fight last night it was clear he still wanted to avenge the loss. I can’t fault him for that really and it’s quite refreshing to see.

Alls i know is glad i did'nt pay for it ,, 2 women fights and i'm fast going from disliking to hating these fights ,, Conor Benn just sick of listening to this entitled little prick tell us how good and bad he is , when we all know whats happenning with him , but the two who were always gonna be good fights , well we got 1 out of 2 ,,, Not really good is it 1 decent fight out of 5 ...
Eddie well he can kid himself all he wants that people are willing to pay to see , a bird with big tits and no ability and a koala who's protected because his dad was good , personaly i never would , i did get up early hrs and stream it because i did want to watch Hughes and Warrington ,, don't think i'd do it again , and i did'nt even pay for it
