Froch has a point. Jack did go missing in the last few rounds. Still had him winning but when you are the challenger in their backyard you gotto be active
He did ,, you just can't stop punching and start holing in a title fight he just gave them too many close rnds which was always going to be in Taylors favor ,, will say though a loss is a bit much i was expecting him to get robbed with a draw

No he doesn't. Froch was a great fighter but he can't read a boxing match.
He out-landed Taylor if every round bar one.

Even if you scored the last 4 for Taylor he still would have lost. Froch talking balls as usual
Yep, plus the KD, plus out landing Taylor by about double

Andre Ward is no party line guy, but he had it for Taylor.
It was closer than most people on here are making out. I had Catteral by 2 rounds

I'd like to see a master copy of the cards, and see how Ian John Lewis got to his score

He is. ESPN/Top Rank want Crawford v Taylor. Who does Ward work for?
The thing is Crawford v Taylor isn't even a close fight. It's not worth doing, Taylor got exposed tonight. He is not in Crawford's league.

The same Crawford who has left Top Rank and has filed suit against them...

lol ward is a commentator for espn, which is basically top rank boxing
catt shouldve been so far ahead that he could afford to piss around late anyway. like taylor vs ramirez. even then though, jack was still landing better shots

Its a travesty , you can't help but feel sorry for Catt ,, but i do feel holding too much making it messy was always going to go against him , Taylor was there to be hit just walking in a straight line , looking for the perfect moment not fluid ,at all ,, just a few more straight punches a rnd would off really sealed it for catt , but holding makes it messy and messy will always suit the homeboy ,

i think he should have got the decison but as you say he did nothing the last few rounds
in fact he held so much he ruined the fight, its one thing using your skill to get out of theway its another deliberately holding round anfter round, in order to deny your opponent the oportunity to get back into the fight, maybe if he did not foul and hold so much taylor would habe been able to catch him
although
to me taylor looked completely drained from the start,
its not good but i dont hink catterall is world class, he deserved to win that fight but i dont think he is anywhere near world class and he has a horrible style, he is like a crab.
you have to laugh at natasha jonas complaining about the result when she was gifted a world title last week, that was as bad as the decisoin to night, there is no way her fight last week was worthy of any area title never mind a world title,

nah, when he loses 114-111 obviously landing a few more straight shots a round wasnt going to help. cards for taylor were filled out ahead of time

focusing on just the last few rounds is silly when the fight was 12 rounds. if people actually care to mention what happened throughout the fight, its obvious that a few rounds for taylor near the end shouldnt have been nearly enough to swing it
cat had earned some coasting rounds on any reasonable card, and even then he was outboxing taylor for much of them
'but cat coasted' is just damage control. ijl and laughlin were obviously set in making up the numbers a certain way

There's no need for a rematch. Taylor doesn't deserve one.
History will be re-written as usual. Sky will forget about it, Shalom will forget about it and the Board has probably already forgotten about it. Poor old Jack will be able to tell all the blokes in the pub about it in 30 years when he's skint. A bit of honesty from the BBBofC today and he could have become a millionaire.

That bigheaded twerp Davidson will think they won because of his tactics and have Taylor fight the excact same fight , Catt would be tol to throw more and make it decisive Catt wins a rematch ,, but Taylor will go fight Crawford and grab a payday ,
