From what I’ve been told Eddie just pissed off the guys at Skills Challenge as he wanted to call the shots and was talking too much.

They’d have still done the fight with him though but he naively didn’t realise that boxing was moving away from Skills Challenge. I don’t think many people did know outside of team Fury and Spencer Brown played a blinder building up the relationship quietly in the background whilst Warren, Arum, Fury have benefited from it massively.

Given that Team Fury probably haven’t been complimentary about Eddie makes things harder for him to build a proper relationship with the new Saudi guys so will be interesting to see what happens.

Eddie’s claiming he’s been asked about his fighters for the proposed Saudi show on December 23rd so that may be a start for him.

Also, if the reported PPV buys on ESPN are accurate for Fury/Ngannou, then I’d be surprised if the Saudis are happy with that given what they’d have spent.
