I'm a bit surprised the referee waved it off so easily, but I think the conclusion was obvious. Parker had this one. He was ready for a fight. Bakole wasn't.

When you have bakole power I think as a trainer you gotta let him continue there and show some bombs back. (Not saying the ref would have let it continue as he was facing away at 10).

I thought Bakole had hurt Parker & then Bakole dropped. He came & had a go. Can’t really ask more of him. Just a shame he wasn’t in better condition but I can’t blame him for taking the pay day.

It's not like Bakole is 7 feet . . .he's 6'6 and weighing over 300 lbs in-between fights. In his mid 20s he weighed as low as 229. Zero discipline.

where did the bakole hype start from? He's the same age as paker and parker has got a much better CV.

Taking the fight at such short notice is also just disasterous.

I actually thought Parker was beginning to look slightly vulnerable there, targeting the head too much when at 19st he'd have needed to slow Bakole down for the later rounds.

In hindsight I'd have favoured Dubois tonight. Still, a good shot to finish and congrats to Parker.

I waited to see what he weighed in at. When I saw 315 I was like there’s no way in hell he has trained. 2.6 on a ko win for Parker was licence to print ffs.

Awesome performance by Big Joe. Hopefully he gets DDD next.

As for Parker I think he should be next in line for Usyk off of this.
