Banke looks great for a guy who was diagnosed HIV-Positive many years ago.
Former WBC super-bantamweight champion: nobody can take that away from him.

Frankie and Ruben: two desperately unlucky fighters. Frankie never got a shot at the title; Ruben got FOUR. He was ahead on points against Alexis Arguello when Alexis overpowered him, gave Salvador Sanchez one of his toughest fights, ran into a Juan Laporte fighting probably his best ever fight and a rising Julio Cesar Chavez.
Phew!

Nance was once desperately close to a world title crack at Terry Marsh over here.
He doesn't look like he's lost any sleep over it.

Art was one of those fighters who gave it everything, everytime. He uncorked a perfect left hook to flatten Claude Noel for the WBA lightweight title in the eighth round in 1981, the same left hook that later rocked Mancini to his boots (Mancini's conditioning enabled him to shake it off).
I can still remember a picture of Noel on the way down. Must have been one helluva moment for Art.
