Cleverly is a LHW. He doesn't hit as hard as Enzo and Frenkel is much stronger than Murat. I don't think Cleverly could boss Frenkel like Macca did.Kilburn wrote:This isn't a knee-jerk but let's face it, Cleverly would beat Frenkel.

Brutal......poor Enzo, that 2nd KD was just terrible.

Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Enzo looked the better fighter but with frenkels power and enzo's chin you're asking for trouble!
Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
In fairness, there's probably nothing wrong with Enzo's chin, it's just the orbit he leaves it in at times. That punch would've knocked out a horse. Showed some balls by getting up at all.
Second knockdown was just sickening.

I really can't see Frenkel holding this title for too long.crusader wrote:Cleverly is a LHW. He doesn't hit as hard as Enzo and Frenkel is much stronger than Murat. Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
yeah, i'm sure he could easily take those 2 evil left hooks, after seeing him countered by murat - blown up super middle - with left hooks every time he threw his own wild rights...Kilburn wrote:This isn't a knee-jerk but let's face it, Cleverly would beat Frenkel.
frenkel needs a lot of work - but what a puncher. he's maybe just landed himself in the super 6 cruiserweights.
really didn't think frenkel would be this cagey. what a brilliant first knockdown, the way he ducked under macca's shot, came up and turned over his own shot...

It doesnt matter now but i think frenkel is important!Asterix wrote:These guys aren't the most important to Sauerland. He's throwing them in at the deep end to see if they will sink or swim, I think.lefty wrote:I wonder if sauerland is starting to regret making these fights!Lol

Yeah i agree although maybe enzo was just a bad style match-up for him!Enzo definietly looked the better fighter.Kilburn wrote:I really can't see Frenkel holding this title for too long.crusader wrote:Cleverly is a LHW. Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
He will get better as he gets more experience against good opponents. He has a good chin and very good power. That alone is enough to have decent success at the Euro level. Clev is a LHW with average power. If he traded with Frenkel like he did with Murat, things would be difficult for him.Kilburn wrote:I really can't see Frenkel holding this title for too long.crusader wrote:Cleverly is a LHW. He was hanging his chin out everytime he went for the bombs, and the other guy always looked like he might catch him with the counter, and you knew it was gonna be brutal when it landed.

Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Come on matthew bash this east European pudendum up!
Re: Magnificent Seven PBP/Discussion
Absolutely gutted for Macca. He deserved some good karma and it looked like he was on his way to getting it.
After the high of Cleverly/Murat, that's killed my buzz, poor Enzo.

Oh no i agree! That was a savage punch but when you include that with the fact that he doesnt have the soundest of chins ie watch the lee swaby fight you are asking for trouble!Baboon wrote:In fairness, there's probably nothing wrong with Enzo's chin, it's just the orbit he leaves it in at times.
