You guys severely overrate Fury. He ain't sh*t and his reign ain't gonna last.
He went to Germany and outboxed Klitschko in his own backyard, if he "ain't poo", then either there isn't a heavyweight on the planet that's close to decent and hasn't been for 10 years, or you know eff all about boxing.
Wlad didn't fight. Fury's win there means very little to me.

If he wins the rematch against a Wladimir that actually throws punches I'll be more impressed with him. But basically he was just the guy in the ring the night that Wlad decided to hand his title to somebody.
spot-on ! he danced and fiddled his way to a win against somebody who didn't want to be there .

Joshua don't need anyone, that's the thing. He calls the tune now. Haye? What's it to Joshua? A million or two more than if he were to fight Takam. Joshua will earn millions for routine defences.

Takam would probably be more dangerous than Haye

The love he was getting in the arena tonight was pretty crazy. No denying he's a cross-over star now.

First defence against whom?

Shannon Briggs? Would explain the move to the UK, build up a profile here to sell the fight.

He has a chance, but that's about it.

He'd be a big underdog. He's not ready.

But I think Joshua is Fury's worst nightmare.
Joshua is a big stiff idiot and Fury would play with him.
Steve Cunningham had enough pop to put Fury on his back. Joshua will keep him there.
So did Klitschko. Did you notice the difference in Fury's tactics between those fights?

I think Fury is Joshua's worst nightmare. Taller, faster, longer arms and more mobile. Not saying AJ couldn't win but Fury seems like the hardest style.

I will forgive AJ a gimme next (not Haye until he beats a live body) followed by the winner of Pulev v Chisora or winner of Takam v Parker whichever comes up first.

Could you clarify?

Haye's wetting his pants over the prospect of facing AJ. He must need the money.

I saw the difference in his opponents tactics for sure. Cunningham actually fought Fury.

Definitely the latter of the two options in my post then.

If you can't see or understand why Wlad was so inactive in that fight then I don't know really know what to say.
Don't act like you saw something I didn't. I know Boxing. I'm a die hard fan and have watched it for a long time. Nothing Fury did in that ring should've kept Wlad from fighting. There were times when Fury was wide open, hands down, begging to be hit, and Wlad just stood there staring at him.

He didn't even try.
You clearly don't.

Plenty of fighters have stood in front of their opponents with their hands down, doesn't mean that they're begging to be hit and that anything thrown at them will actually land, someone that knows boxing should understand that.

Teper is the highest rated IBF contender and beat Price in his last outing. Unless he's still serving suspension for his drug fails he'd be a possibility.

What fighter the same height or taller than Fury has had more power?

Fury ain't Pernell Whitaker. Wlad definitely could've hit him if he'd bothered to throw a punch.

AJ is an offensive juggernaut. Admiittedly he hasn't defeated a top opponent, but I can't see many people coping with his attack and he'll probably just get better, though I already think he'd overwhelm solid fighters like Pulev.

It may be a case of having to take him out beforr he can land something meaningful.

I just really really really hope Fury gets past Wlad in the summer and fights Joshua afterwards. The arguments on here in the build-up alone could genuinely break the internet :yay:

I don't think that they'd want Joshua in against a drug cheat.

Duhaupas would be a good next opponent.

Stop being a pedantic knobhead, Horse. The fact that guys who are lighter than him and shorter than him, hit harder than he does is exactly the point. Wtf has Fury's height alone got to do with his punching power?
