Whyte outboxed Rivas, yes. He used his jab the best I've seen. I was rooting for Rivas and loathe Whyte, but that doesn't get in the way of reality. It was a clear win for Whyte. You're either trying to be outrageous or simply too big a fan of Rivas to recognize the truth. Either way, Whyte won.

Different perspectives make life interesting. Whyte boxed extremely well. Rivas was not busy enough, mostly due to Whyte’s excellent work.

I watched it live on Sunday morning cold sober and it was pretty clear for Whyte.
Good effort from Rivas, can't knock him for trying, but after some gruelling body work from Whyte mid way through, Rivas was not very effective.

Yeah same. Most be tough when everyone counts you out like they have Price. That in itself must be tough mentally to deal with and that's not including his own confidence problems from the run he had been on.

Colour me relieved. I was going to drop serious money on Allen ko, I was absolutely convinced he was all wrong for pricey. But then every man and his dog was betting on Allen by stoppage. Most of the Betting volume pie chart on oddschecker was Allen stoppage . Very interesting .

I don't think it is interesting at all. People are stupid generally and gamblers even more so. Allen talked a good fight and that's enough for casuals with £50 to burn.

I popped a bit of money on Price, so happy days. Unfortunately I also had a flutter on Szpilka and Rivas, so I am only up by a few quid overall.

It is sad that he has fought even if he hasn't been well just for the money. Not like he would have been earning life changing money. Not going to judge though, everyone has their position and right to do as they want. I hope the people around him have made decisions for the right reasons though.

He was garbage last night, was fighting at a snail pace, and had very bad tactics. As Povetkin showed, the left hook is open all night long against Price, and he never threw it

Hmm, you may be right in that there were probably a few mugs taken in by the wideboy charm of Allen but I feel the ‘smart money’ was still on him in this one based on how they matched up.
