Joshua looks like he's shedded a lot of muscle here so built for speed and movement, he's maybe not the most natural boxer around but he's switched on and seems to me from how he conducts himself that he'll try to learn from his mistakes, I think he might have to try box the fight he did against Parker, he needs a better jab than he had last time, I remember the punch stats favoured AJ last time on account of the jab although it didn't take into account he was pawing with it and it was pretty poor in all honesty, he needs a strong jab to keep Ruiz at bay and on the outside from getting his quick combinations off where he's most dangerous

People saying Joshua will be in better shape this time forgetting so will Ruiz who only had a couple weeks to prepare last time so I give him a big chance here, also the fact that this time he knows he can stop Joshua will bring confidence , I'm gonna go with Joshua on points though, I think he'll box to a plan, stay switched on, make it boring but he's gonna have to listen to Rob McCracken this time especially if theres any drama, Joshua mentally strong though IMO, plenty people think the oppsosite but the fact he's took the immediate rematch in a foreign country suggests otherwise not to mention the fact he's fought his whole career under massive pressure, I think he gets far too much undue stick, I want Joshua to win I think its better for the Heavyweight division but if Ruiz does the double then some serious revaluating needs to be done from AJ but nah I think he wins fairly wide on points

I don't see the out-of-the-blue left hook landing in just that place which took Joshua's legs away last time. There's a chance he gets caught in the middle of a combination, true, but I think Joshua wins on points. I think if Ruiz catches him on the chin he'll rattle & roll him but it won't make him flop about all over the canvas like the side-of-the-head shot did, IMO & I can see Joshua hanging on for dear life & getting back on the plan.

Ruiz definitely getting over-rated based off of the original match—it's like all the other times he's struggled or looked f(l)at never happened, now.

According to boxrec he was 297lb in his debut and 292lb in his second fight, he's been lighter than 283 ever since, went as low as 246 in one fight.
