His two questions to Fury were "Are you going to retire" and "Will you fall into another depression now"

fury won the last 5 rounds on the cards, then got the ko. heavy deontay was spent early and was running on fumes it looked like for much of it

I agree. Once it was clear in the 5th that Fury had completely recovered from the knockdowns in the previous round it was almost total one-way traffic after that. Wilder landed the odd clean punch from then on but for every one he landed he ate at least 10 himself.

I suspect Wilder may be finished after that beating; but we shall see

I think Fury is right when he said that he was no.1 in the division and Wilder was no.2.

Usyk would likely be held at length by Fury's jab and leaned on all night and Wilder might just overwhelm him on last nights form.

AJ has a punchers chance against anyone but likely outgunned against Wilder and outboxed by the other two.

disagree, wilder is third at best after fury and usyk, maybe 4th after aj.

wilder won like 3-4 clear rounds out of 3 fights with fury (about the same as wallin did in 1 fight), hasnt won in 2.5 years, and at 36 was just brutally ko'd after a long hard beating. not sure what is so impressive about that form and suggests he > usyk and josh. hes talked about retirement recently too, i think its downhill from here

id take usyk, aj, and obviously fury to beat him if he fights on

i agree, and he didnt just get brutally ko'd and nearly knocked unconscious after a very unhealthy 11 round beating with 3 kds. at 36 (he'll prob be 37 at least when/if he fights next) there's no way wilder's the same after that . not to mention he got ko'd the fight before too....

and thing is, people always act like wilder is just needing 1 right hand vs anyone, but we've seen people can get up. fury done it a few times now, and ortiz got up from a kd to nearly stop him. even eric molina got up to hurt him and last late into their fight, him catching someone dont mean its over

I do think Usyk beats Fury...Usyk has great stamina and I think could fiddle his way to a decision

Thinking on the nature of Wilder's KOs, I feel his power's very good but not spectacular by ATG standards, but his speed was always right up there until he added weight. I think it was the shock factor that wobbled so many, similar to Haye.

I wouldn't call him the biggest puncher of his era, even, because I think that's probably Price back when he had confidence. When you compare the effect Lewis had on noted tough guys, just detonating them across the ring... Wilder's isn't that kind of scary, but at 220 he was faster than almost every heavy, and that made him the hardest fast puncher in history. But outright hardest? No.

Certainly more skilled, not sure if his power will trouble Fury. Great fight if they can make it.

I'm certain Fury only beats Usyk with unsporting tactics, so I think he has an excellent chance. But if Usyk can negate that somehow, I'd pick him to win by a few rounds.

And as I keep banging on about, I think Joyce is eminent right now because he has a great chin, can handle himself in the rough stuff, can keep working, and has a ton of heart. He might lose convincingly on the cards to Fury, but he'd really bring it.

I'd lean towards picking Usyk against Joyce, Joyce against Fury, and Fury (only the best version) against Usyk.
