Yeah, you're guaranteed some entertainment when Harmison bats. I reckon he's due a good day with the ball as well: lets see a few 95mph balls into Hayden's ribs.

I dont think its a bad total at all, the pitch was not as good for batting as everyone first thought on day 1. If the Aussies bat like they have in the last 3 tests we could be in a reasonable position.
They have a dodgy half hour before lunch to negotiate lets hope we can get one of the fuckers out!

It could certainly be worse, Giles added some very useful runs. I fancy us to knock them over for less than 373 at any rate. If Jones was there I'd be a lot more confident, but I think we'll be ok.

True, we will certainly miss Jones' reverse swing.

Hayden looks shocking out there. England have really rattled him all summer.

Totally, I'm surprised he's hung about this long!

We are really missing Jones here, having said that Collingwood has bowled a couple of nice overs.
Where's the rain when we need it?

Nick,
What's this about you not being English? You aren't Scottish are you, mate?
zendo
My team are gonna be hard pressed to retain The Ashes now. So much for my 5-0 prediction... Still, it's been riveting.

We've done bloody well to knock the Aussies over for 367. Flintoff is the star again, any chance we can get Sven to pick him? The bloke can't put a foot wrong.

Looks like we will retain the ashes. Flintoff is without doubt the best cricketer in the world at the moment.
Geraint Jones couldn't catch a cold. ;)

Might have spoken too soon! Warne yet again has been excellent this morning, he has been the best Aussie player in this series by a long long way.
We need to steady the ship big time.

This is not doing my nerves any good at all. Can't Warne fall down the pavilion steps or something?

England bat down to nine, so we should ... still be ok.
2 quick wickets after lunch though and we're fucked.
Aussies won't be able to chase down 250 in the final session, so bat to tea lads and we'll win...!!

Yet again I find myself asking why Bell was picked for this match. He clearly is not up to the job as yet. One for the future certianly but should we have a guy in for this decisive test who has on the whole failed miserably the whole series?

He never plays this good for Hampshire!!! (my county)
Someone should get a sleezy sounding call-girl to ring him up before play resumes and take his mind off things. Etiher that, or let him know beer and fags are being handed out for free down the road over the next hour.
It'd be the last you see of Warney

I love Warne, feelings about the cricket aside he is a top bloke. And who hasn't sent filthy texts to birds on the QT when the Mrs isnt around? My phone used to be in my pocket permanently when I lived with the other half for fear of her reading any of my messages.
