He looked good against Gonzalez. Sadly, I think lack of discipline and over eating ( building a kitchen into his bedroom) undermined what could have been a sensational career.

Yeah no doubt he had the physical tools and ability to do a lot more than he did, take Holyfield out the equation and it was a pretty average career. As you say he didn't have the discipline to dedicate himself to the sport. I know Gonzalez turned pro with high exceptions but he never really achieved anything, carefully matched to a title shot and then pretty much done nothing after that.
