Very interesting, I've never seen the film and every account I've read has Johansson flat out as the bell rings, including the interview I read with London in the Boxing Monthly from about 6/7 years ago, which is where the quote comes from.

I've heard Henry Cooper say in person that the break between rounds in the 'torn glove' fight with Ali was 4 minutes, where the film shows it was more like 10 seconds. I guess the old saying 'never let the truth get in the way of a good story' comes to mind.

At the risk of incurring Granberry's wrath, I will report that Steve Lott did an extensive study of the video of the Cooper-Clay fight, and the break was 8 seconds.

Here's another guy that I'm working to get into the CBHOF, he is Orlando De La Fuente's uncle, who fought under the name of Tony Fuente, real name, Antonio De La Fuente, he fought some top names in the 1920s-30, had 115 fights W72-L33-D10.

In this photo, he is with Jack Dempsey, who he fought, only to get ko in first round.

Just to let you know,Mexican women have the edge on Spanish women. For looks(Que chulada es el maiz prieto) and temperment.(Just my opinion)These Spanish dames can sure fly off the handle. How tall is that grandson of yours, Frank? That's one big kid.

Rocky is 6'5, big boy for sure.

The Baltazar's have done just about everything in boxing, except provide the world with a heavyweight champ. If that kid can punch as hard for his weight as the last generation did, then maybe such a notion isn't that far fetched. Of course, he also looks like a pretty smart kid, he doesn't need boxing. Nice pics Frank, I was really disappointed to miss this years CHOF banquet. I will call you regarding another matter.
