I caught the early price at 6-1 on Martin when the fight was announced months ago. That was a good price.
The problem is; there are so many intangibles involved in this fight, it makes it a hard market to bet on.
Eg:
- will Martin southpaw stance and boxing skills cause problems?
- can Martin take a big shot (no one knows yet, but he has a big head :-)
- can a hugely muscled AJ go late rounds?
- Is AJ 's chin solid? Only been tested once only
- is Martin a bum who got lucky and hoping for the payday?
- has Martin got a good plan - IE spoil the early rounds, save your energy and come on later?
Both are effectively untested so that leaves a lot of maybes..... With betting, that is a nightmare

Then bookies have dropped the odds to 7/2
Lots money going on Martin
Lots of silly people who don't like money.

What I'm trying to say, is that it's not worth betting anything significant on this fight... Maybe drop a random bet for very few quid on something like Martin Points or Joshua points

Well I think there is enough evidence to suggest Martin is going to leave his chin out to dry at some stage. Because that's how he fights. So the question is 'Can he can absorb punishment?' rather than 'will he get hit?'. Joshua is an obvious big hitter, so chances are Martin will not be able to withstand those bombs.

The Joshua fight will end in a ko , Joshua fights at to high a pace
I jave put a bet on today Martin by. Ko in any round 5. To 1
Bit silly i could of got better odds earlier
I could cover myself by backing Joshua in the first 6 round s as well. I am pondering that one

What's everyone think about Rose vs Macklin?
Macklin looked pretty regressive against Wellborn so seems an ideal chance for Rose to put himself in a position for one last bite at the big time (though Rose himself is at a level where he perhaps isn't getting any better). I doubt the issues around the MGM set up could be seen as a positive either. I can see a real case for punting the 8/11 Brian Rose though interested to hear other's opinions.

Tell me about it, it's all there on YouTube, maybe if you were getting 10/1 it might be worth a punt, 4/1 is shocking value, I think Whyte was 7's and he's much better IMO.

That's good odds on the groves fight. He's just too much of an unknown quantity for me these days but those odds are tempting.

Gents, what are the best odds I can get right now on Joshua by KO in 1 or 2? That one seems like a licence to print money.
