Fury will be fighting for his whole reputation and that in it self makes him a dangerous opponent - his motivation will be as high has it's ever been in his whole career.
He knows boxing is a sport where you go from hero to zero in one fight .. his disgusting attitude and behaviour outside the ring has lost him lots of fans, and his dire performances of late even more fans distanced themselves from him.

He looks in good shape for him - still more like a sack of spuds than a top athlete, but you can see muscle on his arms/shoulders/chest .. juiced to the gills helped there no doubt.

But what most here are overlooking when they say he will wear Usyk down with his extra weight, is that Fury's legs are the ones to likely tire before Usyks ..

Fury's legs are skinny, and the only top heavyweight fighter he wore down with size is Wilder .. and Wilder is about the only heavyweight with skinnier legs.

Usyk will be making Fury use those skinny legs of his alot more than he will be used to. Fury's legs will be carrying lots of weight and when they only get exercised plodding up and down Morecambe promenade at a snails pace it's realistic to expect Fury to tire before Usyk .. so expect Fury to foul his way to a disqualification loss.

I don't think he'll foul anywhere near as much as DDD did against Usyk and talk of a DQ is just plain silly. My main concern for Luke is his punch resistance. All those knockdowns must have taken their toll, surely. I also think it's strange that a lot of people in the media are writing off his performance against Ngannou as Fury not being prepared. Prepared or not, he should have toyed with the cage fighter. I fancy Usyk to win by late stoppage or a clear 9-3. Not because of my dislike for the dirty PED cheat, but because Usyk is a lot better.

i cant see fury intentionally doing an akinwande. even if usyk boxes furys head off all night long, tyson knows full well that the powers that be are all in on fury v joshua, he'll drag himself through to the final bell even if he loses every round, knowing theres a good chance he'll get the SD or draw anyway.

There is big money in the rematch .. there is likely bigger money facing Joshua.
Being dominated and stopped is a lot harder to come back from than a disqualification.


Whilst he would still get the rematch vs Usyk, its a tough one to do if your being outclassed.
If Usyk shows that Fury is washed up then the Joshua fight may not even happen.

Tony was in the “Fury is too scared to fight Usyk” camp. If he gave his head a shake I doubt there would be much rattling about.

I’m not seeing fatigue being a deciding factor for this one. Fury is surely just going to get outlanded.

It seems unlikely those odd looking arm-punches are going to trouble Usyk in big numbers, whatever shape Fury turns up in.
