Hatton has been active and he wanted JMM before Pacman - he even talks about fighting him NEXT!

Floyd is smaller than Hatton and been out of the ring for nearly 2 years.

Who is the real bully?

Hatton!

PBF is so good he can beat JMM anywhere anytime - but why bother to train down to 1437 when you can fight at your walkaround weight?

Still...the fight should be at no more than 142.

:D
no he isn't. :shame:

on pure stats u know that is bull.

floyd is taller, longer reach, bigger dick.

the only thing u go on is the fact floyd started at a lower weight and doesn't balloon in between bouts.

floyd is bigger.

God Floyd grow a pair, fight Paul Williams and take the beating you know deep down you've always secretly yearned.
Williams got outboxed by Quintana remember. Mayweather is 100 leagues about quintana.

Truthfully, there is noone from 140-154 that would be favoured over Floyd imo.
Eh yeah but didn't Williams crucify Quintana in about 2 mins in the rematch? You seem to have conveniently left that out of your argument. Willaims has just dominated Winky Wright from start to finish in about every round. Even Hopkins 2 divisions above Winky's natural fighting weight couldn't do that.
I seem to remember PBF getting beat pretty soundly in the first Castillo fight and then winning a shocking decision. I believe that bout is now up on youtube. Watch it and look at Mayweather's face at the end of the 12th and tell me he was not a beaten man. But you could put that down to a bad night. Just like Williams had a bad night against Quintana. But holding up the first Quintana fight after what Williams did to him in the rematch is a pretty moot point imo. :TU:

Weigh them them 24 hours later!

Idiot!

Hatton drained weight, PBF walks around 3lbs heavier than he fights at.

hatotn may enter the ring heavier but that doesnt mean he is bigger does it.

I mean duran could have outweighed hearns on the night but no one in their right mind thinks he is the bigger man.

PBF never walks around over 11st - his walk around weight without training is under under 11st..

Hatton is bigger ALL DAY LONG!

Come on, accept it. Hatton weighs more on fight night when he fights at Lt Welter than PBF does when he fights at Welter.

He is bigger..

Could be a decent scrap but you'd have to go for Mayweather by UD because of his size....

DG - posting a picture of Hatton sparko doesn't help your initial synopsis that he is bigger than Wayweather.

Nor does citing what happens post weigh-in. Last time I was dehydrated and drank water, I don't believe my height or reach improved...

I can agree that FMJ is the better fighter, indeed being ringside, from round 3 or 4 he was superb, but it is impossible, intellectually, to claim Hatton is bigger.

I disagree.

Longer arms and height do not the bigger man make. Paul Williams taller longer reach than Michael Sprott - who is the bigger Man? Sprott!

Hatton boiled down to 145 from 12st plus.. His NORMAL walk around weight.

PBF lost a few pounds and came down from less than 11st which is his walk around weight.

Hatton is bigger...

2 inches shorter and short arms, but hatton has shorter arms than most Superbantams..

Hatton is bigger than PBF.

The picture was just to win up HitmanHatton and nothing else.

Well we can agree to differ.

I still you are wrong that Witter would have had a chance against Hatton, but some debates are best in person rather than an internet forum.

Regarding Paul Williams, in my humble opinion I think losing to Quintana was the best thing to happen to him. I seriously think that a bit of complacency had started to creep into his mindset, there was so much hype about his size and freakish reach, and all the talk of him being the most avoided fighter in a weight division packed full of world class names. I think Williams believed all he had to do was turn up and he'd beat Quintana, and I think that showed in the fight. Taking nothing away from Quintana, who did the job against the guy in front of him, Williams seemed out of sorts that night and he paid the price. But he made amends, he came back focused and destroyed Quintana. I take the point about him being caught cold, but he went into that fight fired up and with a point to prove. Since then he's been on a roll.
Fully focused on the job in hand (and lets face it he would be) I think Williams would give Floyd a nightmare. Not saying he'd win, because Floyd is talented enough to find a way to defuse the threat, but it'd be one hell of a test of Floyds ability.

Oh and for the record I thought Castillo edged their first fight, but the judges gave it to Floyd so not much point debating it.

Anyone can get caught cold mate. We never got to see if Williams had really learned his lesson and was a better boxer than Quintana. He caught him lovely and that was all she wrote. I'd like to see a rubber match and see what would happen. The fact is, Williams got HANDLED in the first fight, Quintana got KTFO in the second fight (caught cold). If Williams had outboxed Quintana for a few rounds and then knocked him out cold, you'd have a point.

It was an amazing performance against Winky, but Winky is no mayweather. I've seen Mayweather vs Castillo one and Floyd won the fight, to say he got "beat pretty soundly" is a very poor statement.

Mayweather would beat Williams easy.

You are entitled to your opinion. but if you think Mayweather beat castillo in their 1st fight you either A) Haven't seen it or b) Your opinion is at odds with the vast majority of people who did.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyjaojqkGmk

Every stat and expert analysis was on the side of Castillo. Its really a moot point because the controversy surrounding it was acknowledged at the time.

The 'poor statement' line made me chuckle. So because you disagree with me and indeed because you hold the opinion of the minority then my belief that Mayweather was soundly beaten that night its a 'poor statement'? Righto. :-?

I also love the way that you have also dismissed Williams massacring Quintana as the latter getting 'caught cold'.
So Williams should have given Quintana a rubber match should he? You don't think he proved he was the better man in their rematch?
To say that Williams still hasn't proved his boxing abilities because he knocked Quintana out as opposed to outpointing him over the distance is astounding logic especially when you consider that he'd already outboxed Margarito over twelve quite convincingly and has since gone on to dominate a quality fighter like Winky.
To believe that PBF would defeat Williams is fine. Though considering the problems he had dealing with a faded fighter like ODLH's range I struggle to see how he'd win it easy but none the less. Like I said its a fair opinion.
But some of the argument's you've used such as complete revisionism of his 1st fight with Castillo and to believe that Williams simply caught Quintana cold is just insulting.
