It would have straight KO'd 95% of fighters I think.
Point is he shouldn't have been in there with Pac in the 1st place but if he was going to be, he ought to have had his chin better protected.
Watch the fight again mate. I don`t think the lack of punch resistance is as much bollox as you think.

In the first round he was wobbled a few times and put down twice (the second time from no clean punches either)

David Diaz ate worse than that first round all night. Look at the stick Hatton took from Mayweather before finally going down. Maybe it was just the speed of Manny, but Hatton looked spent in there and fragile as hell. Manny is not really known as a HUGE puncher, he is accurate and fast and breaks people down. What he did to Hatton was scary.
well I hold my opinion about the KO mate , but as I stated , unfortunately due to stream dragging, I didn't get a good view at the time.
I have looked at it since and there could be something in what you say, as Hatton clearly has his chin well covered for the second knockdown but it put him over. Dodgy legs from the first perhaps? always harder to recover from a KD when you're cold.

i simply want to see Ricky have one more fight at the MEN or City of Manchester Stadium. Nate Campbell or Junior Witter are my preffered options in terms of fights.

Ricky should retire though might not like to go out on such a devastating loss. Maybe he should fight brother Mathew? Matthew might win at this stage......

But joking aside, apart from battering a no-hoper for the Man City faithful, Khan is the only fight that makes sense.

I even think it would be huge if Khan loses to Kotelnik - it could be billed as the last chance saloon best-of-british type fight. Both have big followings and it would be a very interesting prospective fight, if not big in world significance.
