Yes Dad.
Im the saddest c*nt of the lot, been around the site since late 2001. Believe it or not, in the dark ages of boxrec the current scene was a rational place with educated posters and interesting debate. There were one or two token 'trolls' and even they were kind of ironic in their retardedness and part of the happy boxrec family. it kind of bemuses me why the current scene is full of cretins now, I'd like to come up with a more convincing answer than 'They're American'.hitman_hatton1 wrote:it becomes addictive don't it.![]()
i started going online in 2000.
i stayed clear of these forums for a good 3 yrs or so.
then i thought sod it let's have a go.
still a sad c*nt 5 and a half yrs later.

Now i have a decent social and home life so have no need to make or find friends online so why am i online so much? i think the case for most of us as it is me is that we crave being able to talk to like minded souls who love the sport the way we do which is hard to get with your average man on the street or average sports fan. I enjoy this forum very much as there are a lot of people on here who are in the trade and box themselves so to hear the likes of Moorsy, Darren Sutherland, Swifty, big Larry etc i find very interesting as i do with those involved with press side. I often wonder who maybe behind some of their user name and i wouldnt be surprised to find out that a lot of boxing jornos and famous fighters are online and posting but hide behind a false name, for all we know Coco is Barry Mac or DG is Ricky Hatton.
anyway, why do you pass your time online talking boxing?
