After a bout with Liston Ruiz would likely truly earn his nickname. Sonny would quiet him down for quite some time....IMHO.

“Haters” John Ruiz would have kicked Liston ass from one corner to the other. Liston main weapon of intimidation would not work with Ruiz and in the end Liston would have taken a dive just to get out of the fight. Ruiz by TKO or UD. Say what you want but Ruiz has never quit in a fight like Liston did.
