so why has ellis come in on a number of occasions over 16 stone.

and the majority of his fights are all over 15 stone so what u going on about !

6 out of his 29 fights has he been under 15 stone. so the facts suggest that hes at least 2-3 stone heavier than bellew when they both fight.

Right guys just wanna say thank you for all the comments good and bad!! I appreciate them all and EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion it's that's simple..

1. I weighed 12st 7pd 8oz's on the Thursday.In front of over 100 people..
2.I weighed 13st 6pd the next day at the venue
3.There was a huge huge weight advantage for him!! Let's just say he wasn't 14st 7pd that I know that cos my coach watched it!!
4.I took the fight as I had no option and neither did anyone else.I thanked Matt for taking the fight and told him it helped me out what he did as It has been a very frustrating 5 months of inactivity!!
5.I ain't saying Matt is a world beater by any means BUT I can only beat what's put in front of me and believe me Im trying to do it in a way that caters to everyones needs!! Ie excitment!! Obviously I can't please everyone but I'll tell you what you'll very rarely leave one of my fights thinking you ain't seen a man who is iving 100% all the time.

As for the fight it's self, Matt was talking to me throughout the contest, I replied twice asking him did that hurt "which he replied yes" he kept asking me can you punch tone are you okay tone,common tone, The guy is a really nice guy and was just trying to get me to rush in and fall for a big shot!! All credit to him to be fair cos he took some good body shots,The first time I dropped him was with a short right hook to the body at the end of the 3rd and he said to me good shot, The start of the 4th was very much the same, I dropped him with a short left hook to the temple and he got up again but looked a little hurt still, I walked in and hit him a good left hook to the body and he was down till 9 and then the towel came in!! We chatted afterwards and I found he's a really nice guy and was now in it purely for the money, I thanked him for taking the fight and he said Im a top kid with a serious future.We shook hands and that was that..I'd like to thank Matt though cos he could have just stayed down after the first body shot BUT he didn't he showed he has a lot of pride and try'd to give it a big go in the 4th..I wish him all the best in the future and hope he maintains himself well.

I hope this answers any questions people had about the fight. .

Finally I'd like to say thank you to everyone again for showing some interest in my career..

thanks for coming on bomber and clarifying everything i said. i knew his weight wasnt realy 14-7 but didnt want to say that.

your saying about bellew putting on a stone being false but a 100 people seen the weigh in on thursday, and then the next day him be a stone heavier.

bellew might of been 13-7 on the scales the next day but half would have been water he put in his body. like i said before zzutack it wasnt natural weight.

lets leave it as that. i wont gloat too much

Ellis was heavier as from the words in his mouth "ain't been training and didn't think he was goona be boxing for a bit(politics) so was just ticking over" I ain't gonna go on about the weight cos it don't really matter BUT all I will say is he was heavier than 14st 7 believe me!! If you see a picture of him then you'll see it!! He was carrying an awful lot extra on his middle section!!

didn't see the fight myself, and i havent seen bomber in action as a pro but remember seeing him on BBC with a come from behind KO and I was a big fan of his. good power in both hands and he comes to fight. i am a big fan bomber and will be watching out for your fights in future. as people have said, ellis was not cassius clay in there but the bomber did his job.

Thanks confirmation.. zzutak my mate Gegg won't understand a word of the phrase you've just used!! He's a just a really good friend who has followed my career since I first laced gloves mate..He has rose tinted glasses and I can't knock him for it even if he does get over eager at times!!

P.s he's an even worse speller than me too

Firstly i'd just like to point out the only negativity towards you was from the original poster, who has proven himself to be a whopper.

From the sounds of it you've pulled a really good performance out the bag against someone much heavier and who you didn't know you'd be fighting till really close to the fight.

Gutted you didn't make the tele! Got in from town sledging late last night, and had the bill recorded on me sky+, struggled through it all to get your performance only to be disappointed! Hopefully someone gets it on the net.

An interesting summary Bomber. I didn't see your fight, but if it was anything like Ellis' fight against Fury, I think he should call it a day now. No problems with someone earning a crust as a durable journeyman, but Ellis is just too easy to hit.
