I recon at least one of those fights could be made but I think idealy he should go for one of the taller opponents not having fought a big hw yet.

I dont think Haye is really up for earning it against dangerous heavies (but are they really that many dangerous ones these days?) he just wants to go straight for a shot & try hit the jackpot with a shootout. Wouldn't work with Vitali.
Valuev will be fighting the merry-go-round of Don King fighters for the next 100 to 200 years or so.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Oleg Maskaev get the call. Big, old, slow, and thus highly ranked by the WBC.

Personally, if Haye wants to be good for boxing, he should fight top 15 guys regularly. If he can have 3 or 4 fights and demonstrate that the other heavies are bums (his words, not mine), then he's not only giving us a great show, but also backing up his mouth.
Then some time next year he can have this big fight with Wlad, provided he has kept up his winning ways.

His next fight all depends on what happens at Setanta.
If they go to the wall - will sky TV pick him up - or will he take the risk and go to Golden Boy in the states?
Before you say it - yes he has Hayemaker Boxing and can put on his own shows - but he needs TV to support that.

If he had confidence in his beard he probably would have gone the traditional route and cleaned out the trash become a mandatory and thus force the klits to fight or lose their belts( and WE know they care about their belts)
He is in much the same position as Khan in that you feel even an unheralded opponenet has a live chane against him, although in his favour he does have the equaliser
I would love for him to fight Maskeav. I could put double what I put on for the Vlad fight on the under and walk away a very happy man
