Darren has a powerful jab, throws every shot correctly and accurately, is compact, throws short hooks, lovely long jabs and rights. This guy is textbook and I don't know why ppl are starting to pick holes in him. I am sure we haven't even seen his best yet.
He's a pressure fighter and he's going to show his best work - surely - in the longer fights where he is slowing down the opponent to the body, breaking them down bit by bit, taking them in deep waters and taking them apart. Finishing them in style when they are collapsing from exhaustion. He looks to be the kind of fighter who will thrive late on in fights. He already has his style, already looks technically and physically mature. I don't think it will be difficult to move him. He looks like just the kind of fighter who will deliver with each test. Of course, soon it will have to be a steep learning curve but this Oirishman looks up to it.
Sutherland looks brutally efficient, in the manner that Jamie Moore promised (in the Walker, Logan and Jones 1 fights) & delivered on (in the Piccirillo and Dzuman fights).
Well, we will disagree here.
Sutherland is one dimensional, slow and has a suspect chin.
The seeds are there for all to see on that last performance. He looked woefully one dimensional, caught a lot of punches and didn't have the speed. His chin will let him down when he gets banged on the chopper. Rock may well end the hype before it begins, although at this stage it would be a bit of a shock.
Sutherland needs to put in more of those tapes of B-Hop.
I think he can win a world title
