And i dont think jennings will be thinking that because brook hasnt fought anyone descent doesnt mean hes no good.same as brook will not be thinking because mike was stopped with a pound for pounder doesnt mean he isnt coming to fight.
jennings has got alot of heart i think we can all see that,so i dont think gunshy or negative boxing will come in to play.
fair enough mate, and to be fair, from memory Jennings's legs weren't wobbled that badly, you gotta say though he did get buzzed 3 or 4 times

btw i love the overtraining explanation. i have a mate who refuses to believe overtraining is even possible. i disagree with him and know full well it is possible.

its funny to me though as it's like those answers you're supposed to give in interviews when they ask you what your weakness is and you say something like 'oh well i am a perfectionist and i can get impatient when others aren't performing to my standard' or 'i find it difficult to switch off from work'

overtraining is like the reason you lost it's okay to give, far better than undertraining 'well the thing was, he was just TOO EAGER before that fight, overtrained, left it in the gym' that way it becomes not the fighter's lack of professionalism or laziness but a basically positive trait that just went the wrong way this time

if you listen to the interview after the fight mike clearly says he boxed crap and didnt have any complaints, those word of overtraining never came from his mouth.
you could tell with the performance tht he had peaked to earlythe fast footwork and handspeed wasnt there.

and yes he was caught 3 or 4 times but who doesnt get "buzzed" while boxing it is a fight after all :TU:

Jennings is a very clever, smart, technical boxer. If Brook thinks hes going to go in there and blow Jennings out by just turning up he's going to get picked apart. Jennings will box him and take him to the late rounds and in my opinion give Brook a boxing lesson due to Brooks over-eagerness.
This is a massive step up for Brook and I think its a cracking fight and fair play to him for taking it on, theres no shame in losing in 5 rounds against COTTO for gods sake and he wasnt bust up all over the place!!!!
Jennings win on points, Brook getting tired and frustrated in the later rounds.

Basically, it's a fighter who has been totally outclassed by one of the best boxers in the world against an opponent who has totally outclassed opponents who are, at best, somewhere between English/Celtic and British level. MacIntrye is probably the best fighter he has faced, who is a solid British level boxer.

I'm well surprised only 2% have gone for Jennings by KO. He isn't a noted knock out artist, but never the less, he can finish fights early- more so than any of Kell's previous opponents.

More informed views from the poster who claims he would beat Joe Calzaghe.

I like Brook to score a stoppage in around eight rounds.
