Yes. Where we were last time.Wales wrote:MEN was being mentionedfor Piccirillo fight... a huge Maloney card, any chance... or am I going too big here?
Maybe as a half-hall, with the upper tier closed, so about 3000 people?Wales wrote:MEN was being mentionedfor Piccirillo fight... a huge Maloney card, any chance... or am I going too big here?

Will try and make this one.
I agree jamie is peaking..he is on the verge of a world title shot i think he is ranked 3 by the wbc..and the light middleweight division is not at it's strongest so he has a good chance of becoming champ..rhodes is will be put under too much pressure and i can see jamie stopping him in 10..should be a cracker tho! october is a big month of boxing!!!!!!!!Wales wrote:Not in my eyes. Dont get me wrong, Ryans a good fighter, but at this stage in his career he's a level below Jamie Moore, and Jamie looks to be peaking.
I know it's early, but anyone any idea what might be supporting this?leforge wrote:I reckon reasonably priced with good undercard could do 3,500.
Doesn't allegedly have exclusive rights to that venue for boxing.Wales wrote:MEN was being mentioned for Piccirillo fight... a huge Maloney card, any chance... or am I going too big here?
personally I think it's a horrible fight for Moore and he'll get exposed here.whicker wrote:I'm curious why people think Moore will be the betting favourite?
Rhodes will edge this fight, I think.
Well, he looked good against Piccirillo (but then, the question- how "shot" was Piccirillo?)opticald wrote: Moore is nothing more than a come forward pressure fighter. A hardy bast*rd, but nothing special skillwise (Amazing that some on here have argued and presented cases that he'd beat Paul Williams).
He did have, not sure how long that was for as it started when Hatton went to Fight Academy in 2005. Surely the MEN wouldnt have been tied in for this long, especially with the lack of boxing frankies put on there, would they? Like I say the MEN was mooted for the Piccirillo fight, but wasnt viable according to sky. Where else is there in the North West that holds around 3000?brian13 wrote:Doesn't allegedly have exclusive rights to that venue for boxing.Wales wrote:MEN was being mentioned for Piccirillo fight... a huge Maloney card, any chance... or am I going too big here?
This is european level.opticald wrote:
Moore gets exposed in this fight. (Like I said, I'll give him credit for winning, but remember, this is only domestic level).
be a shame if tis robin park arena. Nice venue, and a cauldron of an atmosphere, but the fight is bigger.twenty six wrote:This fight takes place in either Wigan or Manchester.
I will post a soon as venue confirmed.

Rhodes has the exact style to do him. Moore is nothing more than a come forward pressure fighter. A hardy bast*rd, but nothing special skillwise (Amazing that some on here have argued and presented cases that he'd beat Paul Williams).
I am prepared to give him credit for beating Rhodes (who is domestic level). Lets keep this in perspective though, for the way Moore is hyped on this forum, he should be having absolutely NO problems with Rhodes, a guy who lost to Lockett (and we all remember that Pavlik farce).
Personally I see Rhodes being unorthodox and making things very awkward. He will be very dangerous with the hooks and straight punches.
Moore gets exposed in this fight. (Like I said, I'll give him credit for winning, but remember, this is only domestic level).
