PBF would decision him or stop hit to the body.

Mosley would KO him.

He lost TWICE to JMM!!

He beat an old Barrera - lost to Morales when Morales still had fire in him.

He beat Hatton....SO???

Get in the ring with Mosley and PBF and he will be 0-2!

:DDD

Wish we had a few like him in this country.

PS, with all those smileys that punctuate your posts, I picture you grinning like a village idiot as you write this stuff.

Granted, Hatton and DLH were atrocious on the night, but Pac did the business.

If you ask me, the REAL boxing is in the lower weights, the Pac-Marquez-Barrera-Morales fights. These guys - along with the likes of Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez - had to have extremely hard fights, had to go life and death, had to go WW3, to get their paydays much of the time.

This is the true top level boxing. The Pac-DLH and Mayweather-Marquez stuff is just novelty stuff and bloated paydays. You can't blame the little men for doing it, going where the real money is, of course.

Hope Morequez v Hatton is someone's idea of a bad joke.
I literally don't have anything to add to that because I agree with every single word. Brilliant post.

They never put him in with 'slick black boxers'???? Below welter not too many come to mind unless Mark '2 Sharp' Johnson comes out of retirement.
PBF wan't fighting when Manny moved up and Mosley had only fought one legit big fight (a losing effort to Cotto) before he stunned us all by crushing Margarito. There also isn't much slick about Mosley nowadays either. He goes in there to blow his opponents out, not outclass them. Witness the fight with Cotto and wins over Mayorga and Margarito.
Everyone on here seems to be so quick to point out how shot Oscar was and how poor in the grand scheme of things Hatton apparently turned out to be. Yet you completely dismiss the huge physical advantages Manny was giving away. To rise through the weights like he has and take on all comers is a remarkable achievement which try as some might can not be belittled by Floyd beating up a bloated 36 year old JMM after himslef coming in way over the agreed weight.

yeah dont you love the way everyone craps on about cotto having to come in at 145 conveniently forgetting that despite PBF having all the advantages already he didnt make the stipulated weight? What a pudendum.

Marquez should have told him to get back in the sauna and get the weight off or no dice.

Theres a serious amount of shite being spouted on here, i think its cos some members no longer have hatton to pick on so they have to find a new target.

Retarded really. just treat it as such. :TU:

WayofASS and J.

WayofASS Pacman is overrated.

J – POBF paid JMM $600K for the 2lbs he was over, if you were JMM what would you prefer?

1) Get mashed down at 10st 4lb

2) Get mashed down at 10st 6lbs and get an additional $600K?

And J – 2lbs is a lot for a fighter like Cotto and Pacman would NEVER fight him at 147lbs – Pacman initially wanted 143lbs!
.
PBF spots everyone on the night apart form JMM – he spotted even Hatton several pounds!

Accept it – PBF would mash down Pacman!

Because you guys do not agree does not mean it is shite!

DG this may well be a futile attempt to engage you in logic for a moment:

after MM retired, who did you consider p4 no1? pac, or the JMM who lost on 3 out of 6 judges cards, to 2 for JMM and 1 even, over 2 fights?

now i don't want you to give me your 'most people think JMM won both' becuase even you know that what we have is the judges cards, on which Pac narrowly won.

so i guess your position is either (a) pac wasn't no1 to begin with after floyd retired or (b) he was, but with floyd coming back he is instantly no1 over Pac?

JMM as above Pacman...

Jusdge cards are not accourate.

Tell RJJ he did not win the olympic final.

Tell Mcdermott he lost by 8 points to TF!

Pacman was NEVER nmumber 1 in my eyes!

so its ok for PBF to come in 2llbs over the agreed limit but not for pac to request the fight 2llbs lighter...can you admit to some bais / hypocrisy here surely?

Both Pacquiao v Marquez fights were competitive and could have gone either way, I had JMM winning the first fight and Manny winning the second.

I will say this, a fighter like PBF would perform the same at 10st 4lbs as 10 6lbs - he only walks around at 10st 10lbs and could not be arsed to make the weight. Bt he paid the price! $600K

Cotto - those 2lbs weaken him considerably - thsat is the difference, imo.

Pac is faster than Floyd, hits harder and throws bombs from crazy angles which would seriously test even Floyd's defensive skills. P4P Pac is better, but as Floyd seems to have bulked up during his "retirement" his probable in-ring weight advantage of about 10 pounds might even things out in an actual fight. This thread is about P4P, however, and whichever way you look at it, Pac is ahead. More titles in more weight classes, more future Hall of Famers fought and defeated. And, last but not least, Pac ducks no-one.
I'm not sure he's faster than Floyd. Maybe foot speed, but I don't think he has quicker hand speed than Floyd. I actually agree with DG (twice in a week), I think he is overrated. The wins over Hatton and De La Hoya flattered him against two fighters who were shot and weight drained. Floyd would take him to school and stop him around the midway mark, and Sugar Shane would blast him out in about 3 rounds. I think he beats Cotto though... never rated rated Cotto.
