i think booth and munroe would both beat dunne.just my opinion. i struggle to see dunne boxing munroe's ears off. dunne's chin is very vunerable.cordoba only clipped him a few times and turned dunne's legs to jelly but dunne has a huge heart and good power. he is way too easy to hit tho i feel and jason booth is so so hard to hit and there would only be 1 winner saying that.dunne has good stamina and has mixed at good level but when he has he has been soundly beaten
fair enough, hopefully we will get a chance to see,but the only well schooled boxer Munroe has faced is Andy Morris
Dunne is #1 with the EBU and will be the next mandatory after Maludrottu, so it will take place soon. I think Dunne will have a warm up fight first though.

I was going to say a prim Dunne vs. prime Hunter , Dunne would find a way to evade Hunter and nick it, but to be honest I don't think he would have been able to keep Hunter off for 12 rounds. And if it was the old 15 rounds, I'd be well on Hunter to stop him.
Hunter was floored twice by Esham Pickering who Dunne beat with ease. Hunters chin and punch resitance has always been worse than Dunne's. Dunne get's ko'd by two heavy hitters (one a world class guy with a 70% ko rate), Hunter is put down by Pickering twice and from a bodyshot from the not very heavy handed Molitor. Based on this, Dunne was more likely to stop Hunter than the other way around.
Dunne's ko rate is 50% while Hunters is 40%, also take into account that Dunne has a knockout at world level against a guy who has never been stopped.
Israel Vasquez who Dunne sparred with in the Wild Card Gym stated in an interview that he remembers Dunne as being heavy handed. When he was fighting in the states he was noted as being a hard hitter at the weight.
I think I will take this evidence of Dunne's power and the word of a ring legend over a few pissed up "fans" that you met at a Dunne fight
Try telling these guys that Dunne has "nooooooo" power -

if you're post was a boxer it would be KO'd. Holes EVERYWHERE in it. I hate it when someone quotes something as "evidence" that actually goes

Hunter was always poor so I wouldn't have much trust in him against Munroe or Dunne. Booth would always have done him. But as for Dunne vs Booth, it really isn't close at all. Booth is way more skilled and would hurt Dunne. He also has a better chin and is faster than Dunne and has way better movement. Dunne is just way too fragile to compete with Booth.

Opticald you are a tool

Dunne is faster, stronger, and more skilled than Booth and you are as transparent as they come. You can say Booth is better than Dunne, you can wish for Booth to be better than Dunne, but that won't make it so son.

You won't see Booth with as poor a defense as Dunne showed by getting Kod in one round. You also won't see him saying to his cornerman after the fight, "Is the fight over or what?". You also won't see him stumbling around the ring and getting pounded around the ring by yuri voronin. Some "skill" Dunne showed there. Booth would absolutely hammer Dunne and beat him in every department. It wouldn't be much of a contest. Dunne would be stopped before the 6th round. Aren't you one of the people who thought Dunne would beat Poonsawat?

Jason Booth is a Quality boxer,he has nice skill, good Guard and a great heart. He seems to be getting better with age.Has he got a chin ?I would like to say yes because he doesn't seem to get hurt often but in saying that,he hasn't fought anybody with a knockout punch.
Rendall Munroe has fantastic skills, great hand speed, nice enough defence rolled in with nice reflex's.Again great heart but i think a suspect chin although Booth or Dunne wouldn't trouble him with punch power.I know Rendall beat the heavy handed Martinez twice but i think that was down to Rendall making Kiko miss or not landing flush.
Bernard Dunne has fantastic skills, great hand speed, decent power and a great heart.Defence and chin are not so good. But in saying that,he was ko'ed by 2 heavy hitting men with Martinez knocking out 16 out of 17 fights at the time And Poonsawat Knocking out 28 out of 39 fights.
What it all boils down to is fighters styles make fights as someone has already said,
Booth v Dunne.
IMO Booth would suit Dunne as Booth likes to come forward,Dunne would just pick him off for 12 rounds and not be trouble by Booth's power.Dunne is just that little bit quicker with hand speed and on his feet.Dunne wins it on a wide pts decision.
Booth v Munroe.
Again IMO Booth comes forward with Munroe using his feet and outpointing him on points.Munroe is very sound on the defence and would only be using his hand speed and height to tee off booth to a pts decision.
Munroe v Dunne.
Both guys have similar Qualities,I would like to see this fight being a toe-toe war and could well be,but i can just see it being the boxer verus the boxer and trying to counter punch each other.Dunne for me on pts but a close 1.

are you joking? munroe has a suspect chin?

munroe has a VERY solid chin. dunne has faster hands then 2 smooth? not a chance! where did you spring up from? your opinions are fair enough but i think booth wins a wide ud against dunne.booth vs munroe would be very close not sure who would win.and munroe to beat dunne in a fairly close decision

This is why i love Boxing, each and everyone of us has a different opinion on an out come of a fight, weather it be on points or late stoppage or even an early stoppage for that matter.
The reason i said i THINK Munroe has a suspect chin was in his last fight against Isaac Nettey,If my memories are correct,Nettey hurt Munroe during that fight but Munroe disguise it very well and Nettey aint no Puncher.Rendall hasn't fought a Big puncher but that doesn't mean his chin wouldn't hold up,i just think it wont.
Booth does have fast hands but i just think Dunne would be quicker off the mark,be quicker to react to an opening,Which to me would mean have the faster hand speed.

yes dunne vs booth or dunne vs munroe would be excellent match-ups.booth vs munroe will never happen. his chin held up against martinez. dunne lasted about 2 minutes

Seriously though,3 good fighters which would mean 3 great fights.

yes i agree mate. 3 great fights.why should munroe give dunne a shot tho? dunne was not willing to let rendall have a wba title shot or a ebu title shot when dunne was ebu champ.think rendall will move on to world stage if he beats maludrottu.

Yeah i could see that Happening then there is a chance of Booth vs Dunne for Euro, or Booth vs Maludrottu, Maludrottu vs Dunne... Think both beats Maludrottu, going by when i see him getting Beat and out classed by Damien Kelly over 12 but still getting the decision

and reading into his win before last in Italy by a SD against Bismarck Alfaro who then came over here and beat Gavin Reid but was'nt that great...
Booth vs Dunne a Cheacker...

Gemmell tv contracts prevented the fight from taking place unless either Dunne or Munroe is mandatory to fight each other than they can't face each other due to maloney being contracted to sky and peters contracted to rte. the fact that dunne is #1 means that he is going to be the mandatory after maludrottu and subsequently the fight will take place either in nottingham or dublin should munroe beat maludrottu and/or munroe doesn't proceed with a world title fight against nishioka

Without a doubt he does! Check out Dunne's hand speed against the world class and very quick Cordoba and show me any fight of Booth's where he is even remotely as fast as this. Don't come back with the same old sh*t that you always spout, just direct me to a fight, youtube vid or whatever which shows Booth displaying faster hands than Dunne. If you can't do that then just STFU and stop making stupid statements which you can't qualify. All you seem to do is piss all over Dunne for having a bad chin but praise both Munroe and Booth who have never faced even 1 world class fighter between them, one is domestic level at best and the other is happy fighting Euro bums for the foreseable future.

don't worry gemmell, he's simply a bernard dunne nuthugger. Hilarious to see the arguments between the Dunne nuthugger and the Hunter nuthugger on the thread.. "when worlds collide"
I love the way he posts a clip of dunne koing scrubs as a way to highlight how powerful Dunne is
Booth would take Dunne apart, no question. However, Dunne would probably beat Hunter, who was awful and had no heart when the going got tough, quitting like a bitch twice. Munroe doesn't look too good to me either so Dunne might do him too. But 2 Smooth would annhilate Dunne. I hear Dunne is fighting McCullough next... i would be having a wager on mccullough at likely odds if that fight happens
