Conny Velensek/Chris Finnegan European title fight in Germany. Finnegan appeared to win easily but only got a draw.

Yep, good points. It's a shame Wharton was so one-paced as his hook was a beast and although it rarely gets mentioned when we have these 'All-time Best Chins' debates, his appeared to be absolutely granite - can't even ever recall him being shaken by anyone, let alone be put down, which given some of the men he faced and the fact he wasn't exactly hard to hit is quite an achievement.

On the Wharton v lou Gent undercard .. which was also an iffy result :wink:

Nardiello floored him,with a backhand,but that seemed as much a footwork problem(stood square on)as anything else.He shipped some absolute hayemakers against Benn and Eubank who both name him as the "hardest" they have ever fought(not the best,before anyone gets carried away).
