Don't know why you mentioned me on your last thread.

That was between ESB and Goz, all I said was to Goz that he said some additional comments over here - it appeared that he forgot those comments. Then I just mentioned that Bennie was back there, which is good cause I'm sure Bennie will use both sites.

When you mention my entire user name (i.e. not just Stu) I kept suspiscious that I have said something wrong/out of place.

Surely no harm in a bit of Window shopping.

Edit, no it was my fault there - just an old thread is being redicussed saw your name on it and I assumed it was a recent post.

I agree with Stu ... we need to move on but for Bennie and the likes of Goz are they saying they should be free of criticism??? I think not??

I made those comments about Spud AFTER I was banned from ESB. I maintain my part in getting banned from ESB was to state I would no longer be posting there and that my reasoning for this was due to Bennie and Jimmy being banned.

I was then banned for this which was immature and childish to say the least and it got my goat. I mean I can't even access the homepage, so upset were they by my protest that they don't even want me reading their articles?

Someone might well point out, if I said I wasn't going to post their any longer why be upset at being banned? This is true and I may still not post there for the time being until I see a couple of things resolved, a few people shake hands e.t.c, but I still insist that banning me was a complete over-reaction and uncalled for.

To be honest I haven't even been back to ESB since posting a less than friendly post about Spud's one man mission to dominate the site - I stand by everything I said (although I don't particularly remember much of it) and was quite flattered by the amount of PMs and emails I received from other supportive posters (including a couple of supposed Spud Cronies - who shall remain nameless but not thankless).

I am buggered if i can understand how you can get banned for expressing an opinion on a site set up for expressing opinions?!

It occurs to me that our friend Monsieur Pomme De Terre is one of the most aggressively opinionated posters on the site, but has (as yet ) neglected to ban himself.

Any way - to the individual who directed me to this site - THANX - and to the rest of you - LOOK OUT!!!

The ESB guvnor banned me at the same time as Bennie & Jimmy after I hurled some slightly inappropriate remarks at him. Perhaps an apology could get me back in, but surely that would be like saying I didn't mean any of it??

I don't mean to stirr up any trouble, but I'm sure (convinced) that somebody has been messing around with this thread. I'm sure there was a post by Jubbly saying he'd allow Goz back if he stuck to boxing and also offered some words to Bennie - perhaps the big chiefs at Boxrec thought it was some kind of promotion for ESB - or maybe Spud himself deleted it.

This thread hadn't been updated in a while - but now I've read Kilburn's and Lugh's updates - there's definately been some tampering.

Incidently, I am VERY surprised to see Dirt Sugar still posting on ESB after a few comments he made (its was quite abusive) directed at Spud concerning Bunce. The two post were deleted, but Dirt Sugar is still posting - looks like Lesson's have been learned, shame Goz is only allowed back under certain conditions.

*EDIT - I say these comments, and now the post seems to be back in its usual position - I'm either losing it, or something very weird going on with my CPU.
