I'm with you on Page and Starling, and I'm going to add Milton McCrory, Tony Tucker, and Bernard Taylor.BoxBuzz wrote:My list is as long as granberry's medicaid bill.
Greg Page, I thought he was goin' Way way way farther than he did....he had the talent...but not the will
Ed Mahone, I thought he was going places, got sucked into the USA hype.
Joe Calzaghe, I thought he WASN"T goin places I thought he was too slappy, turns out he's not.
Jeff Lacey....I thought he was goin places other than to the hospital after the Calzaghe fight
John Ruiz....Never thought he was going to be a force in the HW division
Chris Byrd....way underestimated him.....and learned to like him.
Jeff McCracken....I thought he was headin' to the top. You never heard of him? Yeah I know
James Toney, I thought he'd implode after the Jones fight. Turns out this guy is very stable in terms of psyche.
Duane Bobick....boy was I wrong on this one
Joe Mesi......Thought he was going to be a household name
Marlin Starling.....same thing
Willie "the worm" Monroe....I honestly thought he was going to be as dominating as Hagler ended up being.
Mike Tyson.....I thought the party was going to last WAY longer than it did.
Riddick Bowe....I thought he was going to be Tyson's greatest nemisis, and honestly thought HE was going to have the career that Lennox ended up having.
Ike Ibeabuchi, I thought he was going to change everything
