Dead even 114-114 early Small wasnt throwing at all trying to put on a show and failing miserably, McDonagh didnt look great but he was just throwing more. Very poor fight

just reading these posts it sounds like Small carrying an injury.

it sounds like a truly awful fight.

i watched small nearly 4 years ago at the York Hall and what people are desribing on here "pub" shots, is exactly what I saw that night. Total crap way out of sync with his "world title" talk.

However, after his decent win over the Yank in Contender and his recent win over Matthew Hall I thought he had turned a corner.

Could it just be that the rest of field at LM in Britain just isn't that good?? I DO actually like Small, but he seems to be having an extremely strange career.

With showings like tonight's you'd be wrong to write off Bradley Pryce's comments on this forum as some have.

Awful fight, McD was just as awful as Small imho, he was trying to play Small at his own game (even said that in the build up) and did that fairly well, but really, eurgh, what a fight. Small defo harmed by this performance after some decent looking KOs recently.
